  • 0:17 even all the chickens and turkeys are impressed lol

  • @3O2MuStAnG LOL, indeed! I was the chicken and my friend was the monkey at the end... To our defense... the car sounded awesome live..! :D

  • It sounds awesome, even on this video, but I know why you guys were laughing at the end. In real life it sounds so insane!

  • the best car ever made in USA..

  • @SexyDangerTrainer The only thing American about the original GT40 was the Ford badge. It was otherwise British built and engineered.

  • @5150UK and, oh by the way, the 289 cubic inch engine that came straight out of a ford mustang =P

  • @SexyDangerTrainer Thats strange, only the MK4 was made in the states and even the chasis of this was made in the uk

  • lol you laugh like monekys!

  • dude driving the other day looked to my left a 60s cobra concept.

  • That would be a small block Ford, probably a 289 with 4 Webber downdraft carbs. Looks like a MKI to me, Borranis etc.

To hear a REAL MKIIA or MKIIB That is a sound you will never forget. I haven't seen a good video on youtube yet that captures THAT sound.

  • dude they had a 427 and thats definately not the sound of a wimpy 289.

  • EIPtuningR32 bull goddamn shit that ain't the sound of a so called wimpy 289, I have a 1966 ford mustang with a 289 that sounds just like it damnit.

  • iam sorry but thats definitely a big block in there. that is not a small block 289. and no...your 66 stang with a 289 in it does NOT sound just like that.

  • Well when I fix the wiring on it so I can get it back running I'l put it on here and show you what it sounds like. By the way most all GT40's if not all came with a 289 and was very fast and sounded like that, do your research.

  • actually they didn't COME with anything. they were a racecar. they were designed by ford to defeat Ferrari in the Le-Mans series after Enzo Ferrari stood up Ford at a meeting about combining the two companies. so Ford said "fuck'em" and designed the gt-40 for the Le-Mans Series racing. you were correct with the MK1 having a 289. the MK1 was NOT the Le-Mans winner. they suffered from many transmission, aerodynamic, and suspension problems. it was the MK2 that won the Le Mans equipped with a 427.

  • Well good I knew I was somewhat right and yes I belive they did have some trouble with that stuff on the other car but I'd say that car was the MK1 on here, seriously listen closely, it doesn't really sound big blockish.

  • its either a big block, or a REALLY well tuned and well breathing 289, but still, its hard for me to believe that a 289 will put out that noise when i am used to a 302 with a BDS 6-71 blower with nothing but headers and turnouts being quieter than that!

  • Well a 289 sounds better than a 302 any day of the week I don't care wht you do to it. 289 Hi PO's came with better sounding cams in them from the factory than any 302.

  • nahhhh. ill put up a vid of my t-bucket. if your a true gear head, youll drool all over your computer. i love it! but no doubt one of the best sounding motors is a 302. thats what they use in all the stangs. that long-tube sound! world famous. you can hear one and identify it as a stang before seeing it.

  • Heja Norge ! Good god what a cool sounding engine.

  • i hear a chimpanzee at the end of the video

  • hahahahahahahahaha hahahahaha rotgdmfflmgdao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • rofl

  • you can't beat the sound of a Ford GT!!!

  • Its a fucking GT40 ! get an education

  • Great car. I would like to know what size is the engine, and how is it carbed and cammed?

  • holy shit

  • ferrari=gt40's bitch for 5 years at le mans

  • The dozen eggs have already hatched!

  • ahhhhhh we got one in norway as well

  • That is in Norway... :) Along Gjersjøen on Gamle Mossevei, just south of Oslo... Right by Tyrigrava

  • wow what a sound

  • lol sounds just like it should

  • I'm going to the store to pick up a dozen eggs. See you soon!

  • Nice Exit!
