This is exactly the kind of thing I want to do. This is what I love about helicopters. They aren't just transportation, they are machinery. So versatile.
Yeah, it can be done as part of commercial training. We have a hook on a 300C that we teach Vertical Ref with. If you want to fly with a load, you'll need to rent one of our 500s.
