Advice for viewers... always, and I do mean always, download FREE programs like Gimp from the official site... posting for sourceforge is just an asshole move if you ask me... if the site leads you to sourceforge (which it doesn't) that's one thing, but even then, you should go to the site and link from the site... it's just the right thing to do... it's gimp xDxOxTx org

wow ur a dumbass source forge is a trusted mirror for alot of freeware programs and it happens theat gimp uses sourceforge for their hosting mirror this is a dirrect link from the devs site its fine

NO... because it doesn't say that... and GIMP may (but doesn't)  use sourceforge as a mirror but the primary download is from the site... that's all irrelevant... the point is the official site has useful info and keeps track of traffic... it's just better to go through the official site... period
