  • Nothing like a Stevie Nicks video to brighten up a grey February day, hilarious, very definitely pre Betty Ford. Saw her in 89 in Dublin, brilliant have to say, she did a costume change at the end of each song, bowler hats, gypsy dresses the lot! She was there at least in body and in platform boots, guess nobody had told her that the 70s were over. Unforgettable.

  • so-she indulged her creative side with some substances-big fucking deal!!!

  • Fuckin hell, cocaine

  • was she really so fucked up at one of her shows around this time that she fell off the stage? or is that a bit exaggerated?

  • I was born in 1983 but remember very well jamming out to this song on a 45 record. Haven't seen this video since around that time either but watching it now brought back a lot of memories! My parents would record MTV music videos on a VHS tapes so I'd always watch those, btw we didn't have cable tv back then so when the videos came on it was on regular antenna television. Damn I feel old! LOL

  • i first heard this in 1987 and every free moment i had in 1985 the radio was on. a friend of mine saw her in 1985 and said the show was so awesome but 1986 video of her shows her drunk. stage fright ruined what should have been the apex of her career.

  • I love Stevie nicks, she is gorgeous and her voice is amazing! <3

  • Mike Landau........killer guitar solo

  • I love Stevie Nicks, but I can't help but giggle through this whole video. The only words you can distinguish with 100% certainty are "I can't wait..." I want to play a drinking game to this where you drink if you hear an actual word (and I don't even drink anymore)!!!

  • Stevie on this video: " 'I Can't Wait' is one of my favorite songs...but now I look at that video, I look at my eyes, and I say to myself, 'Could you have laid off the pot, the coke, and the tequila for three days, so you could have looked a little better? Because your eyes look like they're swimming.' It just makes me want to go back into that video and stab myself."

  • She really had an Anne & Nancy Wilson (Heart) thing going on in this vid with the teased hair etc. Or maybe they copied her??

  • Love this song and video!!!! I also realized that if you mute the audio and play "Mystic Rhythms" by Rush to it instead it weirdly syncs up...

  • I recently saw her on HDNet. It was an awesome show, I wish she had done this song and "Has anyone written anything for you". 2 of my fav's of hers.

  • best year was 88 (cos that when i was born lmao :D)

  • I remember David Letterman poking fun at this video back in '85-'86 when Stevie didn't show up for an interview for the show. He kept playing the part from 3:28 saying. "I mean, c'mon now. How much talent does it take to do this?" Great song and video though.

  • Love the energy in this song!

  • SMOKIN

  • Few people knew that she was friends with Michael Jackson and Prince. Check out her homage to MJ with her one glove, done her way, of course. I love them all.

  • At the time it was great. The background music, the "current" video...now it just sees like a slaughter of her original talent, inspiration. It's like the industry got her and made her do this.

  • An incredibly bad video except for 3:32 to 3:35 where her boobs fall out. If they made the whole video that way, it would have received more air time.

  • Did we all fry our hair in the 80's...I just noticed this

  • @918Rhiannon Yeah, her hair looks terrible!! not that it should change my opinion of the song or anything

  • Love this song. My son and I used to substitute I gained weight I gained weight...

  • so gorgeous I'd drink her bathwater!

  • really cool at 3:24 when she walks through a blue mirror.

  • Fleetwood Mac....ahora descubri porque siempre estube enamorado de mujeres rubias.....I love you Stevie Nicks

  • Kick Ass rock classic! I get revved up when it comes on crank it up!!

  • At 2:39: "This is the moment on Sprockets when we dance!"

I love Stevie Nicks but that whole video is highly laughable today. Bad cues when she should be singing, editing is horrible, the dancers.....should be shot!

    Great song!

  • @KarlChilders I agree, but I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that it was made in the 80s. I've seen superb old music videos, this just isn't a good one.

  • All these fem rockers today are totally into the goth rock thing.....its staggering to me just how far Stevie was ahead of her time. She would be right at home with any of the 100s of current fem metal bands today like Within Temptation. Just take a look at my TOTALLY FEM METAL CHANNEL and see for yourself. Its actually really good. All these gals wearing corsets as stage wear! UNBELIEVABLE. INCLUDING the queen of them all, Tarja Turunen on the channel background image. This has gone places.

  • what year is this song?

  • @RAFY646 1985 from Stevie's third solo album 'Rock 'A Little'

  • @LadyFromTheMountain1

i did not hear this song until late 1987. great rocker song like this did not get any radio play where i was living in 1985.

  • @RAFY646 1985

  • this song is FIERCE!

  • @ 3:18 Kool Aid Man!!!! Seriously, I love this song and this vid. Totally Awesome to see Stevie rocking out in that crazy way that only she can.

  • I ve a little strange idea: why dont we found an 80s nation and move there, forgetting this fucking nowadays?

  • I need a time machine.

  • @elarteinfinito I agree!! It would be a great trip back in time!!

  • this is one of the 80s best!!!!

  • simplemente hermosa

  • The 80's were awesome. Music went to hell in a handbasket after that......

  • What a hottie......!!!!!!

  • She was so beautiful but so angry. I know that it was part of her gig but so angry....

  • I totally have that same hair cut..

  • 63 and still going strong

  • Stephanie Lynn hit #16 in Billboard, 4-12-86. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great week!

  • man I'm not fan of stevie nicks but wow dose she know how to wickedly shake that skirt like crazy

  • Amazing voice! The best!

  • Oh, hot damn!!=)

  • Eine wunderbare Stimme. Sie ist härter als eine Dampflok die einem über den Fuss fährt.Aber das hören ist weicher als 1.000.000.000 Küsse.

    -----

A marvelous voice. It is hard as a steam locomotive one over the foot drives. But are softer than 1.000.000.000 kisses hear that.

  • Schöner als schön. Stevie ist ein Diamant mit 1.000.000 Karat und mehr.

    -----

More beautifully than beautiful. Stevie is a diamond with 1.000.000 carat and more.

  • Great song! Another one of my Top 100 of all time.

  • I can't wait to read the latest Phd paper entered into the archives of an institution of higher learning on Stevie Nicks...

  • This video is one of my favorites by Stevie Nicks, and the quality is amazing, thanks for sharing it!!! :D

  • Neither can I! Rock on pretty lady!

  • i love stevie nicks, this song is so 80's and so catchy. but damn, this song also perfecly illustrates coked out 80's stars. im glad she went to rehab and stopped the blow.

  • GOD, I MISS THE 80's!!!!!!!!! (sorry if that sounded lame) But it hurts!!! I love all the cheesy stuff the 80's have to offer!!

  • @joshua6200 me too.

  • @joshua6200 Yeh! Me too.... this was on the juke box at my local Pint n' Pie, Hanley, Heart.... Roxette, Bon Jovi... FM..... Whitesnake,,,,, all that WOW.... we had a rock club near to Alton Towers called the Highwayman..... had many a night rockin in there...

  • @joshua6200

I miss it too - what's lame about that??? The music was everything but "lame" !!! I think it was a decade filled with great music from th old great names in the business as well as totally new, experimental and inspirational things - even here in Gernany with "Neue Deutsche Welle (transl. new german wave) ....

    agreat decade in music!

    Tom

  • @joshua6200 yeah you gotta love the pink and purple lighting and the wind machine. why dont people do that anymore? If i was to make a music video id totally use a wind machine!

  • one of Stevie best,Straight out of the 80,s the best time for music.Full of fire and passion.i Carnt help noticing the short skirts and the white high heels 80s written all over it.Fab times.

  • "O yes I know you, tho we been outta touch" Damn I love that!

  • Gotta love the fem rockers. Outside the US they are all the rage these days with hotties like Charlotte Wessels, Annette Olzon, Liv Kristen, and Tarja Tarrunen. Say you dont know any of these? And you claim to love fem rock. Better check out my TOTALLY MUSIC ARTIST CHANNEL and scope through the Totally Fem Rock/Metal playlist.....IT WILL AMAZE YOU!

  • even though its not one of her best I think she was taking the piss out of the 80s, especially having those stupid moces and also having Mick in there aswell.....The whole thing is loud and very loud BUT having said that its Stevie Nicks ! and theres nobody who knows how to work the camera better, not even Madonna

  • @pete0118lady yeah i can see what you mean. Its like shes taking the piss out of typical mid 1980s music videos with all the neon lights and a wind machine blasting in her face. I like it too even though it is her more pop kind of stuff.

  • Stevie rocks!!!

  • Wow:)

  • I wish there was more female singers like this today, Stevie rocks

  • The cocaine actually works for this song! The energy in her voice and stare in the vid.... so powerful! Stevie rules forever!

  • I forgot all about this song. I'm a Stevie Nicks fan but this song pretty much sucks. Ugghhh.... I know a lot of people think the 80's were cool but I graduated high school in 86 and looking back, I think that most of the music from the decade was terrible. MTV ruined rock n roll because it was all about the music video and the quality of the music itself was secondary. (Check out Gold Dust Woman to see some great Stevie Nicks)

  • @PizmoBeach1 well as an eighteen year old i can see what you mean but compared to now id prefer to listen to 80s music because of one main thing. Lyrics. Lyrics in most songs these days are terrible compared to decades past and at least in the 80s there were still decent songwriters. it wasn't all producer driven and manufactured as it is now with american idol and the x factor spitting drivel at us.

  • great quality

  • she always puts 100% of herself in every song... God, I love her... she is a gift to us.

  • This is my most favorite Stevie Nicks video and song.

  • @kempmt1

I love it too! especially the crazy dance moves! :)

  • @LadyFromTheMountain1 At time 2:38, the crazy moves they did makes me wonder how many times they bumped their heads before they got it right!

  • @LadyFromTheMountain1 thx for uploading this one nice lady;)

  • @kempmt1 It's mine too :)
