Because Jay Pandolfo raced up ice to nullify an icing call and get plastered from behind against the wall face first, lying on the ice bleeding. No call from the refs. Detroit Redwings came down the ice and scored the tie-breaking goal. This led to Ftorek's outrage.

Did you miss the "flashback" part? The clip isn't live; if it were, I would have put that date. It was from the pregame footage for the game listed. Even if you watch the clip itself, it's obviously a flashback.

Wow, why do you even care about this so much? The original description was not that different (not like anyone reads them, anyway), and most people watching the clip would realize it's a flashback and know when Ftorek actually threw the bench.
