What is the software and hardware being used in the class??

I would like to know what software he uses for this. I have a tablet and am trying to design lectures that would utilize it right now, but it seems as though tablets are primarily marketed towards students and primary school teachers, so it is hard to find information about what other people have done to teach with them at the university level. Suggestions?
