  • Memories <3

  • I loved this game :3

  • I lost £10 pound on a bet that this was a trap.

  • one of best racing games ever... at rly, rly nice graphics

  • I loved both Screamer games, they were fantastic!

  • the car glides so much on the road that it is so hard to play it at the fullest

  • This, Destruction Derby 2, Interstate 76, Carmageddon, Network Q Rally are the car games of my childhood :)

Racing games these days while with nice graphics just don't have what these games did. For one thing Screamer 2's racing tracks still remain unique and fun to this day! That large hairpin in the England track was murder for me when I drove the Radiance; care had to be taken to avoid a spin out :D

I really wanna play this again!

  • portable and emulator 3DFX taringa.net/posts/downloads/8914300/Screamer-2-Rally-3DFX-emulado-PC-Retro-PC-Portable.html

  • I remember unlocking all the cars and setting the record on the English track (shown in the video) with the Aphrodite @ 1:00:15... I just couldn't manage to break the 1 minute barrier... oh the agony lol... :D

  • i think i still remember each inch of each track...

  • I think this was a bit of a dissapointment compared to Screamer 1. The gameplay wasn't as fun and the menus where tiresome. Screamer and Screamer 4x4 was the real gems of the series imho!

  • where download this game?

  • The cars had sounds???? I remember that when I was playing I could only hear the music and not the engines :(

  • I still cant get this demo to work. I have downloaded it from various sites but i I always seem to get stuck around the install/setup steps in DOSBOX on XP.

  • @utterlybrilliant

The game is supported but DOSBox has to be configured specifically for it. Go to their website and you'll find what you need on the compatibility page for Screamer 2.

  • This is a SCREAMER!

  • Man, this game brings back memories of the late 90's!

  • The screamer series shifted from GT to Rally because of the growing popularity of Sega Rally in 1995, that overshadowed everyother racing game on the period.

I personally liked more the GT cars like lamborghini diablo, F40, EB110 from the original one. I think the first one its a more enjoyable game, altought I enjoyed a lot S2 too.

  • Nice, nice, nice...i bought it original and it ran great on my old Pentium 60 with 16mbytes, a Sound Blaster Awe32 and a fabulous S3 Trio 64v+ !!!

There were some passwords to insert while you were in the game menu. You could unlock tracks , a fabulous FR car and a 4x4 Truck!

    Aaaah good old times!

  • and today we play theese games on mobile phones

  • Legendary

  • Does somebody knows where i know that condor thing of?

  • @wertkonijn1000 No idea why, but its reminds me of Jurassic Park. It's a old game, but still i love it as Screamer 1 (known as "Bleifuss" in Germany). I'm a old Games freak, my most played DOS Game (on DOSBox) is One Must Fall 2097.

  • No, i thought i always lent a game from the library. It was a racing game, with much tracks and such thins. The menu and such things looked very light-grey and metallish. I thought it was called X but im not sure of that.

  • this game reminds me of the time I had to upgrade my PC to a 16 megabyte graphics card. Good Times. Now my computer has something stupid like 1 Gigabyte of Ram graphics card. It's overkill just to play this game.

  • anyone know the soundtrack to this game?

i rip it, but i dont know the titles

  • The soundtrack is listed in the manual:

    Track 1 - Earthquake

    Track 2 - Wise Up

    Track 3 - Kool

Track 4 - Trash The Temple (Trash Mix)

    Track 5 - Egypt

    Track 6 - San Fran

    Track 7 - Cub

Track 8 - Brutality (Apocalypse Mix)

  • a great game...and totally italian....good old days...

  • back in the day, this was the SHIT

  • just like sega rally

  • this was and still is ART

  • please help

i run dosbox first but the game wont run. just a black screen. same with the screamer 1.

system is p4 3.0Ghz o/b video o/b sound win XP.

  • Are you entering the proper commands? Also, try downloading a diff copy of the game

  • After installing, run setup.exe first.

  • For less then 100 you can build a sick real dos box...try that!

  • I miss this game :( Paid £20 for it in 97 or so and can't run it anymore :(

  • you can.... use dosbox program for it

  • b&w monitor? thats tragic dude :D

  • this game was pretty hard

  • hello, my question is .. ! Which video card are the best in DOS for this game? I remeber my Trident 2Mb ISA 1995. Is the best?

  • Use any of the 3DFX cards as there is a patch for the game that lets u play it in Glide. Glide was like Directx

  • how can i play this game with the original soundtracks in doxbox?

  • Ooh, the file naming screen is cool :p

  • the best rally game ever :D

  • Sitting for hours on end, listening to that pumping soundtrack, round and round, just to shave a hundredth of a second off my record cos I KNEW I fucked up the hairpin :DDDDD

  • Fuckin LOVE IT !!!

  • This was so much better than the Need For Speed games. What is left from that? :(

  • I remember playing this on a b&w monitor

  • Awesome game, very drift happy. My favorite was the snow course.

  • they dont make good arcade racing games like this anymore. (for pc anyway)

  • You can play this game with Glidos (google it).

  • Actually the best racing-game ever. Wish it was compatible with Vista. I could play that game for hours!

  • Use DOSBOX

  • It was really a great game, I loved it!

  • this has always been my favourite and i'm having similar problems with the first message. I want to play it on vista how do i go about that help me please

  • My biggest favourite racing game ever. The graphics ans physics were astounding at that time. Other favourites were Fatal Racing and (Mobil 1 British) Rally Championship 2000. Now I play Colin McRae 2004, Richard Burns Rally and Rally Trophy (2001).

BTW, I've never been able to play Screamer 2 on DOSBOX with Windows XP.:( Has anybody tried it on Vista?

  • The good old daym gorgous graphics, the graphics these days don't have the nice colours thees old games have,

  • Hmm.. I am noticing - do you demonstrate only demo versions of games? I mean, do you really think someone is going to sue you for showing full games from the year 1991 or so? (-8

  • wonderful game technically unbeatable, obviously by the time it was released.

Never seen before so realistic physic for cars and 3d world like that.

I remember that i was playing thedemo just to see the replay 2 or 3 times.. astonishing.

really a MILESTONE..btw Screamer rally is far better.

MB: try DOSBOX. personally I do not use (i would die in tears) do that for me. bye! ;-)

    ..

PS3 XB360: never seen this 60 fps, or is my optical illusion?

  • How did you get this working in DOSBox, I never could, I'd love to play this again even if it is just the demo (used to have Screamer 2) :)

  • I have uploaded the soundtrack at full 320kbps mp3, so if you want it, send me a message!

  • hey sssroryssss2 i really wish the soundtrack please help me !!

  • U should post a vid with the soundtrack, its was banging!

  • MAN i had this game when i was 5

    still my favorite game

thanks very much for the upload :D

  • omg you picked manual!

  • they done make racing games like this anymore. The pixelated graphics used to give games such an atmosphere.

  • i got this game at home but it doesnt run anymore...lol anyone can help?

  • Does anyone know where I can d/l the England stage BGM?

  • Yes..

  • Where?

  • Nice driving - I love this game still today
