The ref stayed out of the first two rounds entirely, and this round the only thing he did was to step in in defence of Hayes and give Klitschko the warning (and rightly so). Both guys have had free reign to fight how they want to. I haven't seen the whole fight yet but up to here the ref has been neutral as.
If Hayes had been allowed to fight properly by the referee and the judges, he would have crushed Klitschko.
It's so sad to see that racism has taken over boxing again and that just because Klitschko is white he is given the title.
