  • its nice to have different generations dig it. words from the wise

  • manzarek for president! hed legalize acid!

  • Ray is such a dork. Love him.

  • Was the Wrecking Crew ever use on any tracks ???

  • @blueticecho Nope. Only various session bass players.

  • Jim Morrison was as real as they come, as down to earth as the grass. he was an inspiration.

  • Robbie looks physically sick.

  • FLY ME TO THE MOON

  • The part of John Densmore was played by Bruce Dern (chuckle)

  • What's up with Robbie's skin? Does he have lupus? Great guitarist though.

  • Met Ray and Robbie, twice. Robbie was more talkative, Ray was polite, but it looked to me Ray was over tired, too old telling the same stories over and over.

  • More!?!

  • You guys are the best

  • actually, that was elvin bishop on botteneck from the butterfield band. mike played only straight-up ferocious blues runs.

  • Just missing Jim :c

  • just a drop in the bucket!

  • LOL i bet those two brothers are shitting bricks. should have stayed in the band guys , should have stayed in the band. but yet kreiger was a badass guitarist. like they say "everything happens for a reason".

  • he did love the rest of the doors it wouldnt have been the doors and him and ray manzarek were good freinds yes jim wanted them 2 have as much credit as he did i wish jim and pam were still here

  • I miss those guys! Gives me goosebumps just to hear them talk! lol

  • What a band

  • keep pressing 4 for pedo

  • This june it has been one year ago that it happened. They are from the same generation and there is only a few years difference.

  • @SCRIBESCREEN:My mothers younger brother looks like the spitting image of Jim Morrison and Guess what...:Her older brother looks exactly like Andy Morrison,so you would think that my grandparents looked the same as their parents, but that isn't the case.Interesting coincedence is that my uncle who looks like Jim has been a sound engineer for many of the big stars in our country and the sad thing is that he has been in a coma for atleast 7 or 8 months due to a motorcycle accident. This june 2011 i

  • Queen of the Highway was really psychedelic to me

  • Man Ray is sooo aawwesome! He needs to write book about the doors and everything second of it.

  • @Eldererr Ray wrote a book about the Doors in 1998. Its called Light My Fire. My life with Jim Morrison and The Doors. It's a great read and you can still find it in book stores.

  • @Eldererr He has. John has too.

  • JUST ONCE, I want to see Ray Manzarek in an interview SUBDUED.

    He is

    ALWAYS.

    SO.

    BUBBLY!

  • @epsteinsmutha1 I agree, what happened to the Ray in the footage when the all introduce themselves and occupation. Jim just says Jim and looks at the camera like only Jim can. Ray on the other hand is nothing like he is today. He looked like a zombie and spoke like a robot. Ray Manzerick 39 organist what ever he said ? I like that Ray much better. There is never no mention that Ray is much older than the rest of them either. 4 or 5 years.

  • Robby is the youngest of them all but he looks the oldest....well at least hes a badass.

  • @AbeCisnerosIsAwesome Yeah he looks like a burn victim

  • @AbeCisnerosIsAwesome It is kind of interesting, isn't it?

On the other hand, I'd say that John Densmore, especially, looks pretty good for at his age, while Ray also looks good for at his age, as well (which, by the way, is at the age of 72 at the time of this message's posting).

Robby, not as much, I'm afraid... But, he still seems cool, cool, cool in his spirit, demeanour, attitude, chops, prescence, you name it!

  • Best band ever

  • I would have been great to see how Jim Had Aged over the years...

  • Man Ray-you are the Man-without you, there's no Doors. Great Heart

  • @urquinaona69

Look man, every guy in The Doors was equally important. Jim Morrison himself saw it that way. Enough said.

  • @Dogdrum But if you try to prove The Doors are equal because Jim said they were equal, aren't you putting Jim above the rest of the band? lol... just saying... I guess you'd have to say, ALL THE DOORS AGREE they are all an equally important part of the band.

  • @Dogdrum Well said, I'm just realizing how great Densmore is too.

  • @tacomadc His book "Rider's on the Storm" is pretty good.
