  • Why the fuck do i feel like ordering Fried Rice?

  • Amazing guitar player. Awful fucking song lol.

  • Asian Steve Vai.

  • good demo and GREAT guitar playing LOVED the first 0:55 of it :)) the rest got a bit sketchy for me... but good demo overall :)

  • Well he's no Paul from Guitar World in either playing or flamboyancy

  • obnoxious tone.

  • could some one tell me wich bands uses this amp

  • @estikisan some that i know of are. Megadeath, A7x, K-tom, and i forgot the rest.

  • anyone knows this backing track ? ;d

  • "Nga hndn dn kokode orgne ginga dng ne moi thks...." aaaalriiiight? :DD

  • Best JMV demo showing details without a bunch of noise. Can you demo the JVM 205 or 210, please !!

  • que cancion es la que toca al principio?

  • Anyone know the name of the song at first?

  • someone tell me how is called the first song you play? or is improvisation. many thanks

  • bland horrible tone...

  • is the cabinet a regular 1960 lead or vintage? any idea?

  • is the cabinet a regular 1960 lead or vintage? any idea?

  • Tekken 3...:D

    takadam: Clean Channel

  • The JVM is such a cost effective amp. Very versatile. I play Boogies mostly myself but in some ways wish I had a JVM purely for its bang for the buck jack of all trades features. In fact I would even be bold enough to say I'd get one of these over a Mesa Roadster. Its just soooo easy to dial in a good tone and get to the part of actually playing music.

  • I love how there are so many awesome Jap guitar players!! Check out rock Fujiyama. Great show

  • I recently brought th MG100FX, as pro as it is, the next amp i buy will be this.

  • looks like a girl..

  • @omfg51 why?

  • @69stringibanez because all they ever do is just show off how well they can shred. ppl like this guy are the reason gilmour is so amazing to listen to

  • @omfg51

    Whys that?

  • 4:17

    tocku tocku tocku WHAT? :D

  • Excellent demo, there's no need to understand Japanese.

  • he looks like Otaku.

  • i dont know if he's Japaneese, but they never stop suprising me with their random chose of guitar and playing

  • Him not speaking english wasn't the surprising part. Finding out it was a guy and not a girl was the surprising part lol

  • did anyone here know English isn't the only language?

  • this guy looks like one of them troll dolls

  • Is he playing a song or is he just improvising? I need to know 'cause his playing is great, and I would like to listen to the actual song.

  • yeah but plays as fast as a rabbit, and clean.

  • Im glad he speaks english.-_____-

  • OD1 Chang-e-o. OD2 Chang-e-o. WTF. LOL. Subtitles, man.

  • OHAYO GOSAIMAS>>>HAI!!!!

  • I've got one of these for sale!! Mint- Retubbed with Mullard EL34's!! Message me if your interested

  • PLAYSTATION I WINNING ELEVEN...... SAME VOICE ...

  • Is there any difference in sound in Jvm410H and Jvm410c ??? please reply...

  • @HubertBielinski H means Head, C means Cab

  • @Juan666 H means Head, C means Combo....

  • @Juan666 C means Combo...

  • @Juan666 As someone with a half stack, that was an embarrasing mistake. Definitley meant Cab!

we are SLAP DASH from germany and we have recorded every guitar part with a marshall jvm205 and a marshall vintage 30 cabinet! if you want to hear more songs you can visit our myspace! you can do everything with this amp!

  • This guy is pretty cool, haha. I love his playing style. And he's got a sense of humour.

  • best amp in the world! but too expensive for me. im goin with the MA

  • Clang, shink, tonk...Pyuk!

  • 上手いけど、

    なんかうぜぇ

  • i sure wish i could afford this amp, it seems like the complete head

  • This guy is definitely the son of Kermit the frog!!!

  • He looks like an asian tay zonday.

  • He looks like a japanese Paul Gilbert!

  • @Phallystorm

I wouldn't mind sounding like Steve Stevens when I play Vinnie Moore....

  • love this guy

  • I played this at guitar center with my Gibson and I want it SOOO BAD!!!!! I just need to get 3000 dollars somehow... T_T..

  • Jeff Beck inspired, great playing! congratulations ;)

  • Steve Vai CLONE

  • @phallystorm no, not really

  • @phallystorm Are you high? Keep trolling some other shit instead of crapping on about Steve Vai?!?!?!

  • @jizm5150 No Not High. Just Great Observation, and an ear to hear who this Guy is influenced by.To be tagged a Steve Vai Clone would be a good thing. Unless of course yJizmcum5150 you have nothing else to say, and justcomment for the sake of being opinionated, and defiant.

  • @phallystorm So do my Evolutions sound like Steve Vai when I play them too. That's not an great ear, that's called Tone Junkie bullshit. Take a decent observation at the scales used and modes. Not everyone's style is based on 'oh my god it's Vai". Take a music theory lesson first and you might learn something.

  • @jizmCuminmymouth5150 Again you keep shooting yourself in the foot. Look at what you wrote, and read what I wrote. You have convinced me, and all the other people here that you just comment for the sake of playing opposition. Not only do you post double standard maenigless bullshit, but you put yur foot deep in your ass at the same . Musical Theory does not dictate having a good ear to hear someone elses influences.Phrygian/locrian modes maybe, but not depicting guitar styles. Keep talkin.

  • sounds like steve vai

  • if anyone can help, i bought this amp a few months ago and havent used it as much as i thought i would, but when i did start using it the clean section sounds great, but all of the OD channels get buzzy as hell, any suggestions would be great

  • @Sstephen192 try to plug it single on the plugs not with other things

  • the outlet system in the building you're in is like the number one factor for me. I have a 100w tube amp, and when i'm on one in my house, i cant even talk over the buzz....on the other hand when i bring my amp to practice the building is grounded perfectly and there isn't a buzz at all, nearly dead quiet.

You can also get a noise gate, like a Boss NS-2, they work great and dont rob your tone

  • @Sstephen192 Get a noise gate - try out an ISP Decimator. It's what I use and it works perfectly

  • Im having a problem. I got my amp a month ago and only used it twice. At one stage i came back to it and tried the Red Channel on the OD, but it sounded Clean. I then went through the other channels, but none of them had any volume! Please help.

    I have a Marshall JVM 205C

  • if you get any sound then its probably not the tubes so it sounds like a fail in the leads inside the amp!

since you just bought it a month ago go back to the store you bought it from!!

  • that is entirely wrong. the tubes can go way bad, and the amp will still have sound. his powertubes are probably gone if he's not getting any volume.

  • Swap out tubes

  • @colmMICHAEL

it can take some time for the tubes to warm up and then accually produce any sound at all

  • Reply to colmMICHAEL:

You probably just need new tubes.

  • @colmMICHAEL Have the bias checked. I bought a second hand Fender HRD and had that problem. A friend of mine got the bias set where it needed to be and now i can get the volume I need.

  • Goddamn he plays so clean

  • Jeff Beck...MIJ

  • someones a Jeff Beck Fan.....hmmm??? Jeff's huge in Japan.

  • @LedZeppelinisgod100

Yeah, thought that too. This guy is really playing nice. Love the first song.

  • yeah same! indeed, he does pay well.

  • He is a MI Japan GIT Instructor

  • would this amp be good for a agressive guns n roses/ acdc/ led zeppelin sound? or would another one be better?

  • @Alu122112211221

You sound like a hard rock purist, and so I would have to say that most all-tube Marshalls can get you those sounds if you know how to tweak them. Marshall is sort of the hard rock amp of choice for the purist. The only one I would say stay away from would be the JCM 900. It's a great amp, but a little too harsh and dry for hard rock. More of an 80s' metal amp, really. But the others, even the latest models, can be tweaked into those realms.

  • Thanks for the advice, but based on those bands.. which marshall amp would you recommend? I'm looking at the JCM 800, JVM410h, DSL 100, or 1987x Plexi. What do you think?

  • @Alu122112211221

Honestly, I feel I could coax the sounds of any of the bands you mentioned from any of the models you listed. The 800 can pull off some Slash very well, and when you use the power amp to push it, rather than pre, you can get some hefty ACDC tones as well. The plexi will always be best for Zepplin, but also makes a great pedal platform, so you can push it further. Have you checked out a Vintage Modern? That would be right up your alley. But really any of them can get there.

  • Is that a Bare Knuckles in the bridge?

  • i think someone likes jeff beck

  • amazing that the same company that makes an amp so incredible also makes the crappiest amp model on the face of the planet right now, and i believe you know what i'm talking about

  • but I don't - are you talking about the MG series?

  • Suddenly I want Chinese food.

  • Funny cos the guy in the video is Japanese.

  • you can tell that this guy just loves to play music :)

  • Dave Mustaine uses this head

  • lol ifound out about this amp head from dave mustaine

  • can u saturate the tubes? or do you need to crank it??

  • get a ATTENUATOR them your laughing, crank it all the way to 11!!

  • holy crap dude, i just noticed your comment lol.. You have to crank it, but with an attenuator you get more Bang at a much lower level.

  • @ctjoao . . . . . and your point is?

  • @JamesNiskyMusic I dont need to have a point.. its a comment. this is a comment box im typing in. they are meant for leaving comments.

  • dave mustaine is a wanker...but in saying that, a great player.

  • hes definitely a unique character

  • english version somewhere?

  • this guys awesome! whats the song at the beginning??

  • the mario kart theme song? lol, it was pretty epic though

  • does anyone know which YG issue this is taken from? I'd like to order a copy

  • nice hat...

  • dude you have to be careful posting things from young guitar mag. they try to sue people.

  • Great Chops!!!

  • channel'ayu

  • I like his playing

...also how he says Crunnnchy Chunnehl!

  • that must be the ugliest ( don't know hoe you write it) strat i've ever seen, BUT THE SOUND IS B.E.A.UTIFUL

  • Are you kidding? I love ESP strats, to me theyre surperiour to the real thing. In a big way!

I'm not very fond of his silver/chrome pickup cover though.

  • the pickup is the reason why the guitar is ugly

  • it was ugly to begin with.

  • you don't want to tell me that an ESP strat is better than a Fender Custom shop strat??

  • fender make the best strats obviously

  • why do those chinese faces always speak in their language...what about english??I wanna understand something if i am interested in an article...but the amois very great!!!

  • HOLY FUCK what is this music

  • i think that idea behind the jvm was that they wanted to have the plexi and jcm 800/900/2000 in the same head which they succeded with!!

    LONG LIVE MARSHALL!!

  • I can't understand what he says but it was the best demo of this amp that i had found on you tube... thanks for the review!

  • Comment removed

  • This guy looks like a turtle

  • haha. so true

  • this guy might of been raised by turtles lol.

  • He rips tho.... its gotta be turtle power!! hahaha

  • @ARKITOOTHUS roshi master

  • @ARKITOOTHUS i lol'd

  • That amp is schinkie, clangy junk. It is sonically offensive. It causes instant ear fatigue and irritation.

  • @hotstuffsmartass ummm yeah so go plug back into your spider III.......

  • Thanks for the demo, I think I have decided to go with this amp.

    MT

  • Very Nice !!!

  • I feel a bit od Satriani in him :D

  • Neer heard of the guy, but he definately knows his way around a strat! What technique

  • I love this amp!

  • Nice phrasing and good choice of when to SLOW DOWN, and especially NICE volume control.

  • this guys amazing

  • great job

  • Sounds great. That ESP guitar.....what model it is? It's configured like a George Lynch GL-56 but isn't reliced. What model??

  • I can only presume it's a Snapper, or maybe a custom model...

  • FANTASTIC!!!!....

  • this guys whammy bar technique reminds of jason becker

  • Man! Thats some Chickin! Kom Pow!brotha served up with some Wosabi! keep it up!

  • That is the amp I have.

  • kinda jeff beck type of sound

  • thats what i thought when i watched this video. the vibrato especially. very nice.

  • wow the perfect demo! for the amp i have been dreaming of!

  • THis amp is like a rehassed Marshall 6100LM 30th Anniversary.accept the 6100 is a better amp.

  • this guy was ok, nothing special. very average.

  • i dont know why people say always that marshall is sucks coz other amps are dominate over

marshall for example ENGL or mesa or soldano ye okay maybe but it depends on you what u choose.

i think not many people can afford more than 5000$ for a better amp "it was just an example"

  • there the best amps that people can afford is what your saying. There are way way better amps out there. Marshall is mediocre compared to Orange and Engle and Diezel and Peavey 6505, Krank amps.

  • Engl*

Also companies liek Splawn, Mesa Boogie, Framus, Carvin.

There are a lot of variety that people need to be aware of. Marshall has one hell of a legacy, but its not the end all amp. Plenty of variety for everyone to find their tone.
