@iKreamIce If people get the DVDs, then Funimation will make Fairy Tail succeed in North America. Think everyone knows about Fairy Tail? You clearly don't read how many comments in the first episode are about how people are freaking out over how Plue from Rave Master is in the opening sequence.

Plus, Funi's dubbing the show. And the dub is awesome. And if people don't get the DVDs, then there won't be a dub anymore. And that will piss a lot of people off (it'd be D.Gray-Man all over again).

When the fans of the manga read Fairy Tail before the anime was made, do you have any idea how many people expected Natsu to be played by a woman, like Naruto or Luffy? Do you have any idea how many of those people thought his Japanese voice SUCKED? Now HE has fans because the haters grew used to it!

It's just a shame so many people can't help but judge by voices alone rather than the quality of the acting and the translations which, in case of the writing for the Funi dub of Fairy Tail, is often BETTER than the literal subbed translations, like in episode 19; hearing Gray in Lucy's body desperately roar "WE'RE NOT GONNA MAKE IT!" while trying to take "her" shirt off gets me even more in English. And I loved it in Japanese.

Not that I have any personal issues, per say, but really, when you see a full-grown muscular man, what's the first type of voice that comes to mind for such a character? Because I highly doubt it'd be this voice:

@immblueversion i don't see anything wrong with that voice. i don't mind the Dragon Ball Z dub but there are a lot of horrible dubs... only a few are even kinda okay and again Goku's voice is fine.

@iKreamIce Not only that, but with Funi around to legally post more than the latest five episodes online, people won't have to worry when their favorite illegal anime-viewing websites start screwing with them unexpectedly by having all the videos suddenly taken down for copyright violations, as it will inevitably happen sooner or later. Then people will just have to turn to Funimation to get what they want.

@narutoslover100 yea lol,i hate going into subs when i dont have to.dont get me wrong about 85% of all anime i watch is subs but when companys like FUNi and Viz get great anime and do about 2-3 seasons then the production stops for awhile then it goes again.so i encourage a lot of people to buy blu-rays and dvd to keep franchises like d.grayman going.one piece is slowly getting into season 4 and japan is on the timeskip on season 15 so FUNi is about 11 seasons behind.they need our support

You probably just need to shop in the right places because I bought my anime no less then $30 for a boxset of 26 episodes on rightstuf and amazon. I hope they get d grayman back because they lost the license because it did not sell enough but I don't know if crunchyroll has it subbed but your going to have to watch illegally with stupid and crappy fansubs in any other site.
