Fully agree. I've always been a 2k fan and stopped buying NFL games since Madden got the copyrights. Went and give this game a try today from the video store, was done in 3 minutes in the first quarter. The graphics are bad for it to be 2009. NCAA 09's graphics are great and that's why i can keep playing it. Guess i'll be waiting til that contract runs out. Madden 10 looked good but i just don't trust Madden games

Madden 09 was a major jump in the Madden video game franchise. The graphics amazing, gameplay unmatched, and extra modes(i.e. superstar, franchise, etc.) improved. This game delivered everything that a sports game fan lives for. The play by play voices were betterd, going more in depth and sometimes even showing you what you should have done. Also the games adaptable settings were a nice installment. Before if all-pro was too easy but all-madden too hard, you were stuck. But no more! Great game!

both animations from both versions didn't translate well onto the field.....its great to have new features and i thanked ea for trying but the core gameplay mechanics needs a complete overhaul.....still has many moments of gitches and arcadey feel for the most part.
