Yes, I highly recommend that lens. It is a great wide angle, low light lens.
I'm actually selling mine now because I feel a telephoto would better suit my needs as I am getting more and more interested in shooting sports and animals.
Yes I used it for senior portraits and just general portraiture. Actually if you look through my stream again, you'll see that about 90% of my portraits from February until now are taken with it. I used it for video as well.
Why didn't that lens come in the original box?
