I bought a retail copy of this game from future shop (Canada's Best Buy) and the god damned CD-KEY is already in use. Now I'm at the mercy of Steam customer service, it's right after the holidays (so I'm assuming Steam is understaffed and backlogged) and I just wanna bash zombies heads in with random objects. :(

@Jessie4522 1. Yes, sorta...your doing quests, but you can essentially go wherever you want, limited to the island (can't keep swimming away.)

2. No, the only thing this shares in common with dead rising is crafting weapons, but you have to have a schematic to make them. There are no timelimits on anything.

3. So far, the story is decent but i have not gotten too far in it to know whats causing the zombies....

For those wondering about all the kicking, it's the best crowd control method Sam B, the character I've been playing, actually has. As far as continuing to kick while down, that's because my weapons were breaking; this early in the game, weapons never last long. Oh, and I was skipping looting some stuff because I figured that'd be boring in a video.

Finally, Sam B has a talent in his middle tree to do the curbstomp. Since then I've upgraded it to a much faster jumping stomp.

I've been waiting for this game for 7 years now. I absolutely love zombies, and it looks like they've done a wonderfull thing with this game. At first I feared it was going to be like Left4dead 1&2, loaded with special infected. Popping up all the time. But the amount seems bareable. I think I will be playing this for a long, long time.
