It seems to me that we may finally be turning the corner to most Americans. You should never have had to go through what you did. So many of our fellow GLBTQ have experienced so much of what you have. Thank God you made it. We need you, and we need all of us to make this change. Please take care of yourself. I feel really painful when I see your tears, because I thought those nightmares should have left you after so many years. I am 21 and in college, in China, where every gay hides himself. I never come out so I haven't experienced any attack, but the feeling inside is always negative. Just like what you said, I need to believe that miracles can happen and it does get better. Hope, is all I have.
A.J: Your video brought me back memories of when I was in middle school and my friends stopped talking to me. Later, a guy who didn't like me started making rumors that I was gay (which were true) and even more people ended their friendship with me. The school psychologist blamed everything on me for sitting and moving my hands like a gay person. A year later, I moved to the U.S and was finally able to be myself. I'm so happy right now and nothing is going to change that.
