I love that and wish Holiday did that piece of it when she performed this song. She did it on the Tony Awards performance in '82, which is posted here on YouTube, but other than that, I've not seen Holiday do that piece of it live.

If you knew anything about the technicalities of singing and the physical structures involved in the voice, you'd laugh at yourself for thinking a bit of blubber plays any part in it. The change of voice has nothing to do with Weight, but eveything to do with age. Sometimes with many Vocal Artist, their range decreases with age. It doesnt make them less of singers, but a product of nature. And Jennifer physcial expressions has nothing to do with a mini heart attack, its called dramatic effect. And being thick, fat,or overweight does not make you a better singer. its the control and technique U use in breathing and letting air in and out of the Diaphram.Big means push harder

Agree...but at the same time I agree with the other person too. Jennifer said herself that her voice was different when she lost weight. She had to teach herself to sing over again because thin she actually had to use the correct muscles to sing.
