That Skyline will be a non-turbo version, they did a non-turbo 2.5 litre R32 IIRC which was pretty slow. Not surprising a modern modified diesel would beat it.
you would have to cut the power waaaay back, cancelling out any power benefit to stop the block from warping let alone melting. I think the ford (international) 6.0 powerstroke was some sort of graphite and iron block with aluminum heads (correct me if im wrong).

so which skyline was it? they made a 2.0 auto all the way up to the GTR. or maybe its a 4x4 with a 2.5 none turbo? most skylines are for show really. the reputation came from the GTR. the rest really arent that fast.
to me i think the skyline won the gti look like in the end the skylien was ahead but it was a very close race if the gti won now the skyline probaly didnt have its tune up lol

I cant really fight that one except the C6 Z06 isn't bad for raw hp. If you use FI (Forced Induction) it will make you shit a brick. Its pretty sad that American manufacturers arent really keeping up to spec with what the world wants..

Naw its just an ubertuned TDI. I have seen this kinda shit before. Super high boost on Diesels. Diesel trucks run around 22psi STOCK. So yea That is why they have such expensive shit as "injectors" because remember once diesels start they dont need spark plugs they run on compression. That is why in order to stop a diesel engine, it actually stops supplying fuel.
If that was a GTR, it'd have accelerated like a missile.
