  • This is so stupid but I love it! XD

  • HOLY DILEMMA!

That's what he said when he couldn't get it up with Bat Girl

  • Purrr-fect! okay thats gonna stick to my mind till 2012

  • Bruce: Priceless too, Commissioner Gordon. (And for some reason, this makes me very angry.)

  • two hunchmen talking

"listen man, we gotta say something about these outfits to cat woman"

    "wadda ya mean?"

" we look like gay thunder cats!"

  • "With luck, the Bat-apult will launch us right on to those pincers! Without luck, we'll fly past the helicopter and plummet to our deaths! There's also a chance we'll crash into its blades and be sliced to ribbons! But there's two of us, so the odds are fair that one of us will survive and bring those villains to justice! I just hope Catwoman doesn't tell the cops I tried to buy stolen goods. Anyhow, alley-oop!"

  • In these Filmation animated Batman cartoons, The Joker sure did have a goofy looking grill of a smile face on his car!

  • thanks for uploading but i was really just trying to hear the theme music at the end of the episode with the motor shifting through the gears, can you please post that? Whicih you could have run the whole episode w/ theme music, its what got me hooked on this in the first place when i was about 4 or 5 yo,lol

  • this old classics are great

  • Are these 1960's Batman cartoons on DVD for sale?

  • @dowzycki the whore season at amazon of itunes.

  • @dowzycki try to download it free on torrent, not dvd but very good quality

  • wtf is Catwoman in green

  • Would've been a much more interesting story if Catwoman's henchman had floored the accelerator at 3:18.

  • wow! Olan Soule and Casey Kasam as Batman and Robin before the Superfriends good grief! How long were they doing this? They were in that role untli 1984.(at least).

  • +(

  • hate this cartoon

  • I do not understand why did the narrator have to tell us about everything happening as if we are blind, and every character explains everything that is on their mind.

I know that it is a legendary show, i am a 90's kid so i have seen "Batman: The animated series" and Loved it, but this is too naive, i feel stupid in fact.

  • I question the year 1968.

  • This Cartoons Bring Back great memories!

  • SEXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  • The sound is fucked up

  • I want that cheetah

  • Does anyone else find the fact that Robin sounds exactly like Shaggy from Scooby Doo creepy?

  • @Byzantine76 same!

  • @Byzantine76 No, that's because they were voice by Casey Kasem who also voiced several other characters for Filmation.

  • 3:36 Boy, am I glad they reinvented Harley Quinn.

  • So in 1968 all the cops were Irish immigrants?

  • That's pretty damn powerful helicopters Catwoman has made

  • Much of the voice work on this show, along with a great deal of Filmmation work, is credited to the late Ted Knight.

  • Instead of hiring Jane Webb to do a bad Eartha Kitt imitation, why didn't they just hire Eartha Kitt?

  • scoody doo world

  • The voice acting is SOOO over the top, it's hillarious. Ohhh, poor Batman XD

  • BEEE-YEEEWWTIFUL. AHNT THEY MISTAH WAYNE.

  • is this on dvd yet?

  • AHAHAHAHAHA their voices are so funny!! xD

  • Why on earth would Batman drive in an open car?

  • ahhh, so hokey!! ^_^

I especially like the fact that catwoman and joker have appropriately costumed henchmen.

  • how the hell did catwoman do that

  • 4:49

  • Sharpen your claws Catwoman, The "Dynamic Dodos" are about to drop in!

Rofl!! I love joker's puns! XD That made me laugh the first time i heard it. Couldnt help it Haha! He's the funniest

  • What you have to remember is that this was a typical innocent Saturday morning cartoon along with Aquaman and Superman. I was around when the trailers came out for them in the 60's. It was the talk at school during recess. We were also discussing the newest Hot Wheels and Sizzlers. A truly great time to be a kid. If you were not born during that time period, don't waste your time trying to understand us who were.

Kids now will never know what they missed.

  • @pmd467 right on man. loved these old cartoons and had my share of sizzlers , AFX slot cars and fuzzy headed G.I. Joes :)

  • @pmd467 I was born in 1995,but I agree with you. I was born in a time where the Classics were still around somewhat.I like old TV better because cartoons used to be good. You had shows like Tom & Jerry, Ducktales, and this show right here.I miss the classic days. :(

  • This makes the Plastic Man Comedy and Adventure hour look like Batman: The Animated Series......

  • this is so stupid...

  • Kasey Kasem did Catwoman's voice. lol!

  • Retro fun. As much as I love the dark straight laced Batman. Cheesy Batman is also a lota fun and very enjoyable if done well.

  • I'm in love with this catwoman! She is now my favorite and I just seen this version today. Wow 13 years I was all about the catwoman from Batman The animated Series.

  • I loved ever second of it.

  • Those "cat-men" are ridiculous.

  • wow, this is dripping with cheese...

  • I can't stand Jokers voices

  • @Strobertat Yeah, his voice is out of place and weird sounding. The other thing I can't stand is that self-portrait of the Joker in his hideout. Why does he need it and what's it doing behind his desk? 60's animators were so gullible and innocent XD

  • @krisfrosz133 LOL! True, they had no idea. XD

  • it was all a pile of cheese!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Funny, the Joker really looks like French president Nicolas Sarkozy.

  • batman y robin alway got trapped by their enemies back in the sixties and the seventies... I dont know why people complain so much, I love this show, its not like the serious dark batman loses its awesomeness just by the existence of this period.

  • Love Catwoman's voice.

  • Ya know, instead of going to the crime scene to find out it was Catwoman, he could've chased the guys stealing the castle, found out it was catwoman, stopped her, and brought it back.

  • I miss these!

  • joker just got dissed

  • Robin: "What do we do now Batman?"

    Batman "We do nothing."

    Awesome plain!

  • Since WHEN does catwomen have henchmen???

  • SINCE 68 i gues

  • @TomDarkwulf - Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt always had them!

  • Why shouldn't Catwoman have henchmen?

Fortunately the 60s shows weren't sexist like Bruce Timm and co.

  • Saints preserve us! Cassey Casem makes a great Robin.

  • 1 Million Dollars! how quaint in 1968 that would have been alot of money however now i imagine 100 million would be more her interest

  • Wow looks like amix of catwoman and joker mixed together!

  • No commishiner Gorden its a compleate coincidence that I sound like Bruce Wayne.

  • lol the Joker sounds like a creep

  • the Joker is a creep

  • That is about the dumbest catwoman ive ever seen lol

  • catwoman's laugh is soo soothing, Ihhhhihihhihihihihi...i wish i could laugh like that..! :)

  • I used to have this version of Batman on VHS tapes, about 4 videos :D

  • HOLY DILEMMA!! 6:16 LAWL!

  • wow they stoled the WHOLE castle. :D

  • and with 3 helicoler

  • lol not a heavy castle eh?

  • i use to have these episoded on tape. they were the best :) i loved the joker ^^) aah good tims :) thanks 4 puttin this up :)

  • Castles didn't have plumbing back then, or had foundations, so carrying them off was much simpler back then. :P

  • LMFAO X))

  • Wow! Olan Soule and Casey Kasim were the voices of Batman and Robin for so many years! That was narrator Ted Knight as the Joker, by the way!

Olan Soule played the nerdy police scientist on the old 1960's "Dragnet" series!

  • Yep. They performed as B&R in the Superfriends show in the early 70's.

  • haha wow. old school

  • Can't believe how cheesy Batman comics and cartoons were back in the 60s.

  • Look at this BAtman and Joker compared to Arkham Asylum versions.

  • @szyszak

They were meant for kids. After the tv show became popular and kids started to buy lots of Batman comics this is how the kids wanted Batman to be.

As a matter of fact the Batman character would most likely have died with the 60's if they didn't make the series. The sales of the comics were terrible before the tv show, after it they sold a lot of comics and Batman was saved.

Like it or not but we wouldn't have Batman today if not for the cheesy period in the 60's.

  • @McLarenMercedes actually, it wasnt like that. Batman comics were entering the so called " New look", a phase of relative seriousness after the bewildering, aliens ridden scripts from the 50s. Then the live action series went on the air and because of its succes, the comic creatives were forced to mimic its campy style.Sales were great for a while, but when the fad passed and they cancelled the show, the now campy batman comics were left at their absolute nadir. It remained so til the 70s.

  • Well believe it-they were even more cheesy in the 1950s, twenty five years before the advent of the tv series they were incredably juvenile. Is it any wonder why the producers chose to go what was the current form of the character back then?

  • @szyszak No shit. It is just me, or were nameless cops REQUIRED to have bad Irish accents in cartoons like this?

  • @szyszak Comic's were much brighter in the 60's, so were the cartoons. TV didn't rule kids back then - they actually went out to play everyday! By the 80's the comics started getting darker - so dark you weren't sure who the good guys were! Lastly, this cartoon is based on the successful TV series that was also light-hearted.

  • @szyszak all comics were cheesy back in the 60s

  • @szyszak thats not funny my parents loved this they have all them on dvd but im not allowed to watch them thats why im on here

  • Standby for Batapult!

  • Holy Dilema Batman!!!

  • thats one well built castle....and NO foundation

  • The Joker sounds like he has got a cock in his mouth LMFAO... Still really cool to see this old cartoon though

  • that must be some cock...jajajajajajjaja man sounds sooo chessy

  • 1 000 000 Dollar? You would`n get the juwels for that now a days! Has to be the inflation :D

  • hahaha 3 helicopters steal the castle hahahahahahhahahaha XD

  • it's a cartoon. don't take it so seriously

  • how the fuck are 3 helicopters going to pickup a whole castle?

  • Why does Catwoman sound like the Wicked Witch of the West? Her costume is hideous and she is an idiot.

  • I want a pet cheetah

  • I love Catwoman but in this series she is so weird. Loved Adrienne's Catwoman

  • 7:43

Who knew helicopters could be operated with a steering wheel?

  • the voices on this show r so plastic and melodramatic

  • I never liked Catwoman's costume on this show..It doesn't even have cat ears!

  • YEAH, her costume in the tv series worn by Julie Newmar was far more sexier...waht does the color Green have to do with color of a cat?

  • @3dartistguy

I think sometimes in the mid 60's practically ALL villains wore green clothes. The Riddler, Green Goblin, Dr.Octopus, Dr.Doom, plenty of others

  • For the Catwoman, it makes NO Sense. I would have preferred they used purple instead and the Penguin's costume should have been dark blue, not light blue.

  • @3dartistguy

Of course it makes no sense, but the original Catwoman was only called "The Cat" back in 1940 and the first time she appears she wears, Green. Originally just a green dress but still. Also she has been wearing a green costume in the comics before this cartoon ever came to be. Her wearing purple or black wasn't always the case.

Check out the cover of "Nine Lives of a Feline Fatale" a Catwoman comic, and see that she did wear green costumes in the past.

    Different times.

  • @McLarenMercedes This Catwoman is so sexy-can't believe she could be captured. Last scene we saw her she had the gun. WTF happened??

  • @3dartistguy -- Same as it does with a vulture...I always thought the early Ditko designs on AMAZING SPIDERMAN made Toomes look more like a giant parrot-man. Parrots aren't scary. You want a scary bird, talk to a cassowary...!

  • @blahdiddy2006 It is similar to one of her many costume changes,, her oufit was all green in the comics at the time

  • haha Robin has some great lines....."Holy Dilema!", haha

  • @ 3:40 the joker is so close to the front window looks like his nose is smashed lol, what good art lol

  • Haha. This is great.

  • wtf? ...... no seriously..... wtf?

  • omg retro bat-man!!!! =D

  • Those choppers are powerful.... I mean a whole castle?! Now that's awesome.

  • The leopard of Catwoman name's Cheeta? Is it the character of DC comic?Because there's also a cheeta in DCU!

  • 7:27 : hit the brakes joker!! 7:43 steering wheel in a chopper?!??!!?

  • Kasey Kasem as Dick Grayson/Robin

  • I KNEW I heard some Shaggy in there, Smoothie!

  • I never thought mice were so capable of stealing and obeying! I come home after school watching these classics. Love 'em!

  • Cheetah, what an original name.....NOT!

  • 06:17

  • I like the 1968 show better than the 1977 show because it has no Bat-Mite in it but I like the 1977 show better because it features the voices of Adam West and Burt Ward. Why isn't this out on DVD?

  • the same here I didn't like bat mite either

  • WHAT THE SHIT? LIKE CARMINE SANDI EGO.

LOL, THE CAMOUFLAGE NET... ONE MILLION DOLLARS. *puts pinky on lip*

    "HOLLY DILEMMA"

APPARENTLY THE COMPANY THAT BUILT CAT WOMAN'S HELICOPTER IS THE SAME COMPANY THAT BUILT THE SPACESHIPS IN OUTLAW STAR.

HER GUN SHOULD SQUIRT CAT PEE!

    OMG THAT WAS GREAT.

  • Ok there is no way, They could take the castle .

  • It's...so...camp! I love how at 9:09 Batman's all hero posing while Robin is dangling out of a helicopter.

  • holy dilemma!!!

  • There is no way 3 helicopters can carry a Castle that big...This is fake.

  • it's a cartoon from the 60s. get over it.

  • LOL i slapped my forhead when i saw that :D

  • And if this was real, if the helicopters were Russian MIL MI-26's, then they just could do that.

  • Ofcourse, ofcourse...

  • @maiden666guitar Every cartoon ever made shows something that could never happen in real life.

  • 9:10 - Yo soy Betty, la fea

  • 0:45 Those henchmen in the cat suits look like they spend their free time praying for a quick, painless death to end the constant humiliation of their existence.

Maybe working for Catwoman is like some kind of "Scared Straight" program among the Gotham underworld. "Are you talking back to me, you little piece of crap?! If I catch you giving me the hairy eye one more time you're gonna find yourself in a leotard and a set of whiskers so fast it'll make your damn head spin!"

  • Oh god, this stuff is so flat and shallow compared to the 90's cartoon

  • Shit, that stuff kicks ALL the ass. Did you see how the bundle of cash was as big as her head?? Love it!

  • Holy Medieval Architecture . . . the Catwoman took the castle for keeps!

  • What a shitty followup to Ceaser Romero. Even the wannabe anime joker from The Batman was better

  • At least the voice overs are well synched with the animation.

    Other than that.....UGH.

The Joker animation isnt bad, i guess, but the voice is nail on the walls.

  • Cat Woman's costume makes me nausea

  • Okay, I know he's the world's greatest detective, but would that REALLY take precedence over following the STOLEN CASTLE? Wouldn't that be an easier way to solve the mystery than asking tweedeldee and tweedeldum about what happened? They were on guard, the castle was LIFTED OFF THE GROUND and they fired their guns! C'MON!

  • Only a million for the friggin crown jewels?! xD

    lol what a show ^^

  • I cant believe that crazy bitch stole the whole castle! I dont think any 4 helicopters are that strong!!

...wow, my imagination has become a lot less forgiving since i was a kid...

  • Oh, there are some helicopters that are, namely the Russian MIL MI-26, in which just one can lift up to 62.5 TONS.

  • LOUSY Joker voice....ouch...sorry...no wonder I dont remember this show...

  • Warner bros. please put this on DVD PLEASE!!!!!!!

  • I second this!

  • Thirded! This shit is PRICELESS

  • two irish policemen guarding the english crown jewlels, saints preserve us...

  • catwomen looks way different than she does now.

  • ur a legend 2 man 4 uploadin the shit!!! they should knight u!!

  • THE JOKER!!

    BAHAHHAHAHA ._.

  • 1) why batman didn't follow the castle while it was flying(sic)?

2)Didn't he see the joker car?

    OMG...how we were watching it???

  • I wonder how the Dynamic Duo got kayoed. Cat nap gas?

  • "tonight we steel the crown juwels!"

    "WHAT?!"

    OMG^^^^^^hillarious!

  • these are classic

  • Campy

  • OI! THAR STEALIN' DEH WHOLE CASSLE!

  • The Joker mobiles hood looks like a giant penis head with eyes and a mouth.. :P :P

  • retro but cool!

  • That is the best fuckin Jewel, sorry, castle robbery I have ever seen!

  • LOL 06:16

    HOLY DILEMMA!!!

  • I love Ted Knight's Commissioner Gordon voice. It's so... ridiculous.

  • I love trolls like you. its so...ridiculous

  • yeah, like 3 helicopters can pick up an entire castle! haha

  • I was just watching this 1960's Batman cartoon

and I noticed that The Catwoman looks like a

grown-up version of Veronica Lodge from the "Archie" cartoon!

  • true

  • 03:12 what the a 1000 bill!!??
