Too bad the Hawks after the early 70's had mostly mediocre teams with some pretty good teams sprinkled in. It was a great advantage for the Hawks, but had they had a team like the Hawks of 2010 in the old stadium that would have been something.

This guy should do all Stanley cups. Just like Mike Emrick announces them. He is the best. Last years Stanley cup Chicago games were unreal. I got so up for the games I almost through my wife Betty out the picture window !!

I'm not a Jim fan for the anthem.

I like his energy and I like how he comes across during interviews.

My problem with Jim is that he has just one octave when singing: SHOUTING

Wayne had melody... he built the anthem to a crescendo i.e. "and the rockets red glare" Fans knew it was time to get the howls out at that point.

I guess, in the big picture as a born in the wool Hawks fan, I should just be happy that the team is once again relevant and Stanley Cup bound!

Jim's good, but nothing beats how Wayne did it, and still does. I wish they'd bring Wayne back for just one game. For old time's sake.
