  • φανταστικο !!!!!!

  • and this is how you make an A7 Corsair to be stealth

  • @ Mike - That thing probably lands at 125 M.P.H. and wouldn't be able to fly (roughly speaking) without flaps at that speed. This video shows them doing roughly 350-400 kts or so

  • Hope Flipper doesnt do a backflip

  • Masterful flying Greek.

  • Anyone know what altitude that would be? it looks like less then ten meters. Also, I would like to know the approximate velocity it is moving at. Looks like around 125 miles per hour

  • imagine if it collided with a jumping whale..

  • undetected. Fly Low , Hit Hard. Proves that, the Pilot makes the Plane and not the opposite

  • ONLY WITH CAMERA YOU CAN SEE HIM ,NO RADAR WORKS FOR THERE!!!WE MAKE A7 WORKING LIKE STELTH!!!IMAGINE WHAT WE CAN DO A REALL STELTH!!

  • @potiakos7

the aegis system on a guided missile frigate or destroyer will pick him up there - so will the solid state phased array on an AWACS.

  • Hat's off to that pilot.

  • All right, we're at 10 feet , time for a cup of coffee *engage autopilot*

  • I can't believe anyone still uses A7s. They are so dated its not even funny.

  • So good......!!!!!

  • thats a cool picture that pilot had some big balls to do that one mistake , or a wave and its all over

  • @RJF1966 Maby the pilot had balls,or maby the pilots a female! :0

  • @Bloodyvains71 true :)

  • @RJF1966 LOL!

  • this is haf? i thought only guatemala still uses a-7s. it's the best bomber you can buy with no money or credit.

  • Theloume kai metaxeirismena F14D!!! :):):)

  • now he needs to fly a-7 upside down while his in low flight mode.and btw...the plane didnt touch the sea water...so i dont think that he flight it low enough

  • They did this after dark too.

    Fine guys with old bombers.

  • fking sound...

  • the ne w scalp misile i s posted on mirage 2000-5 range 250000 kl target turkey!!!

  • A-7: One of the most underrated planes ever.

  • @Amar7605 In the hands of others

  • Dam good thing it wasn't whale-jumping season.... DAYYYyyyyy ammmmmm

  • @RicMc101

    hahahahahahaha!

  • IRON GUTS!

  • Can you imagine looking out across the beach and seeing that coming in at you? Scary.

  • posa metra ipologizete oti einai panw apo tin 8alassa?????

  • ugly bitch but what a great plane and its cababilities she brought you back home....great vid man great memories....

  • you sneeze wrong and your DONE!!!!

  • go i love that bird:)

  • I used to fly A7E in the US Navy. We used to do this stuff all the time. 10 -15 ' off the water. The fun part was when your wingman would fly abeam you several hundred feet away and at the count of 3 we'd both snatch the sticks back in our laps and watch the other airplane throw a huge rooster tail of water up. "Kids and their jets..."

Famous low level brief quote: "Remember, you can only tie the low altitude record!"

  • @deanoko in your opinion was it a good plane?

  • @chrizmeister1992 It was very nice. Flew a long way with a lot of ordnance. It could carry way more than a B-17 did. Nice inertial system, great HUD, accurate bomber, awesome M61A1 20mm

  • @deanoko nice:d i know many people don't like the looks but i think its a beautiful aircraft:)

  • @deanoko - I once watched our XO put a practice bomb within 1 meter of a perfect bullseye. You might not think that's all that great until you realize that he was using an over-the-shoulder lob - a bombing technique designed for dropping nukes and hauling tail (so you don't glow) - not normally all that accurate! In addition, the terrain-following mode of the navigation radar has still not been bettered - for flying low, only a helicopter is better!

  • thats awesome if the killer whale jumpss!!!lol!!!!!!

  • didnt you see the propeller into the water?!

  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Over 400 Knots?

  • solid as rock!

  • Awesome! ^^

But poor pilot : ( having to listen to "warning! low altitude, pull up! pull up! pull up!" over and over again

  • if i remember correctly.. the minimum setting for RALT is 100ft but the warning volume can be set to the desired volume or be closed so that you can't hear it at all...

  • hahah ok ^^

  • in a prolonged conflct , most bombs used are dumb ones, not laser guided or GPS. delivering those dumb bombs with an A-7 or F-16 makes no difference.

why are the B-52 s still around ? they can carry almost anything , excellent platform.

That's why HAF still keeps A-7s around till there will be no more parts available or other airframes to cannibalize

  • HAF A7, yeap a fine example of how to use the least ( vietnam era plane) and gain the most ( this baby can unload

10k+ pounds of happiness under almost any given circumstances even today).

  • The jet noise above the water is probably scaring the sharks and dolphins.

  • A7 are still effective. I really love this bomber.

  • turks you wont even see us coming !!mongols you are

  • Hahaha...

  • WoW, the Greeks are still flying Vietnam era aircraft! Not that I can say much, the Irish still haven't moved on to jet aircraft....

  • And people still use "hand held manual" hammers...

  • Are you trying to be fucking smart ass hole?

  • They use it for minor reasons in a battle mostly for support the aircraft may be from vietnam era but the systems are of latest technology Greek army uses mirage 2000 and F16 the rest are for other jobs(bombing etc)

  • Either the sea was really nasty...or that was a real good RC flight.

  • yea there is absolutely no spray from the jet engine....lol?

  • This view was taken on joint training exercises from Greek - German Airforece video was from the crew on the german tornado.

  • LOWL

  • NOT UNGLY AT ALL

  • tsapari.... :)

  • There not ugly

  • i love sluf 's(small light ugly fucker)

  • why vought namesa all his planes corsair ??? =)

  • Ah, the A-7 Corsair: Ugly, but well hung!

  • A7 IS NOT UGLY DUDE

  • FAV BIRD :)!

  • Fly low....hit hard...

  • 336SQ 4EVER

  • johnA7corsair: Dad's squadron was VA-153 (Blue Tail Flies).

BTW, his ship followed him home and is resting off Pensacola, Florida not 60 miles from where he is interned at Ft. Barrancas National Cemetery.

  • Here in Greece A7s are on Araxos which is 30 miles away from my home.Unfortunately Greek Goverment decided to replace them in the next years! The first plane i rode was an A7 Corsair II Tiger!!God I love this legendary plane!!!

  • very good pilot !

  • This aircraft was my dad's back in the early 70s on The Mighty "O". He loved it because it could take 20mm rounds and keep going.

He made it through all of his sorties because of this plane.

  • Nice! i have vids for you! ;)

  • @greyfox251 gamw ta sxolia (de dexotan tin psifo mou etsi to egrapsa)

  • Talk about fast transport! DAMN a7 ARE AWESOME!

  • how many feet above the water is this cat?

  • looks like portugal air force

  • its hellenic air force....

  • aha greece! thnx

  • Wach turks watch! We atack you,and you didnt can see us,with your fucking radars!hahaha

  • watch watch russians fuck you

  • Amazing...

  • WOW!

  • is there someone saying that an a-7 is just as accurate as an f-16 with twice the payload??? i doubt it...

  • Yes, there is.

And there is no need to doubt it ;-)

P.S. for non-moving targets of course!

  • remember falklands.....

  • EXACTLY, the Royal Navy surelly won't forget.

Flying so low it is a tactical requirement to delay , as much as possible, radar detection (over land, it's even possible to avoid it).

  • You referring to the Falkland / Malvinas, right? Mamma mia ...... think that planes were without ECM and armed whit dumb bombs!

  • It interested me as a rank amateur, how much the silhouette of a Crusader looks like an old, just about vintage aircraft now, 1960's English Electric Lightning, which had all the graceful design of a flying brick. Looks much the same 2 me as a Crusader, side on. They r both very 'chunky' designs.

  • Remember the Crusader was a maneuverable fighter for its time.

  • How apropriate this video is. The A-7 presented an innovation to military aviation wich allowed (for longer and safer periods) the flight at this hights and speeds. Anyone nows what that was (challange)?

  • You DON'T want to see it in action... An old plane with the accuracy competent to that of an F-16, which can carry the double load over a double range.

  • It was the HUD (Head Up Display).

  • hellenic airforce

  • The fun of being a pilot! Just have to hope that they dont hit any birds or anything...

  • ΙΣΩΣ ΟΙ ΚΑΛΥΤΕΡΟΙ ΠΙΛΟΤΟΙ ΣΤΟΝ ΚΟΣΜΟ...

  • Wow! the jock can see the fishes eyes!great stuff.Long live the "SLUF"

  • No it is not. It is true that HAF fly low all the time. Just see the number of videos of HAF flying low. And besides this is not surprising speed for a plane. What makes you say so?

  • thats the way to catch the enemy,in the sleep!!!!you can sleep peacefull turkys people!!!i advise you to watch the orizon over the aegean, you dont now when they come to get you........ the greek shadows are almost there!!!!!!!

  • HELLAS OLE the aegean guards!!

  • i was watching those A7 Corsair flying extremly low in a rocky beach near Rethymno Crete island where i was fishing in the late 90's they where awesome.. i could see the pilot.. ! Greece i think has the last of A7's still in service ,some fly from Suda airport in Crete , they have wings that change angle for economy in hi speed so they have extra long range, could be like a personal jet dream plane right? lol..

  • just a little correction, the A-7 doesn't have wings that can change their angle to the fuselage. Still an awesome plane. Now they fly out of Araxos Air Force Base, unfortunately not for long.

  • Portuguese Air Force are mainly composed od A7 Corsair's as well. Though they are being replaced with F16 squads.

  • lol they were replaced back in 1999 actually

  • "old A-7 Corsair's AS WELL"????

LOL I don't know about YOURS, but HAF consists mainly of F-16's, Mirage 2000 and Phantoms. And the A-7 of course.

  • GigiM2007, to the best of my knowledge, Corsairs were actually made by the Ling-Temco-Vought corporation( now Vought Aircraft Inc.)during the 60's, 70's and 80's in USA. I have worked for Vought for nearly 30 years and remember seeing them on the assembly line in the late 70's. We marketed a stretch version designated the YA-7F but the A-7 was taken out of service around 1990 because its technology simply could not match the newer fighter aircraft coming into service.

  • Cool flying skills! Reminds me of the Israel Airforce Mirage III's in the 1967 Six Days War against Egypt !!!

  • the one we kicked egypts ass in, in 6 days, roflmao

  • haha corsair´s were the turkish pirates and that stupid greeks are calling their paper flyers after them?

    How stupid

  • Corsars were italian man, from Corsica.

  • Why would "Corsars" (Corsairs?)from Italy fly from a French Island, Corse (Corsica), with Greek blue and white markings. Very strange.

  • Its Corsair which means pirate.

  • idiot AFYONMeMo, In 1965 the aircraft received the popular name Corsair II, after Vought's highly successful F4U Corsair of World War Two.

    read before you speak

  • stupid is your father which did not pool of.

  • How stupid can u be AFYONMeMO? A-7 Corsairs were named like that by the company that made them...which is an American one OFC...lol, plus corsairs were not only the turkish pirates

  • no stupid my friend just a lot of crazy yea

  • you did not existed before 1000 and you never master the sea mongole AFYONMeMo

  • long live Hellenic Air Force

  • Typical Greek crazy pilots...they've some more of this with an F-4...and i think some crazy s*** with F-16...

its time for the Eurofighters now to push them to the limit...HELLENIC AIR FORCE has the most well trained pilots in the world...

  • APAIXTOSSSSS.!

  • i have seen a-7 over my ship at 1,5 meters over the sea

  • incredible flying! respect to the pilots, takes some skills to fly like this!

  • excellent pilot.hellenic airforce rules.we need 100 eurofighters.

  • Excellenit video.

  • This is another "inside" video from the Hellenic Airforce staff. Check the following F4 low fly (3 ft over the sea) by searching for "Greek F4" in the search engine. The HAF pilots attempt terrain masking maneuvers with both F4s and A7s! Nobody else in NATO does that. I know that the USAF does not do that (at least not anymore).Great skill! Leo - Greek Born US Citizen

  • Long live our pilots, keep our homeland safe from the mongols.

  • I love every plane that has ever carried the name "Corsair" - and in all loving affection I wish the US didn't retire the "SLUF". My short little ugly fucker I miss you so!!!

  • my favorite aircraft-

  • God beless our airforce!
