What I want to know is what a herd of buffalo has to do with it being called Savoy Pictures?
There's also a Savoy Pictures Television cartoon logo at the end of the Annette Funicello biopic "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes," with just one buffalo running on a TV set! Plus you get the charming Once Upon A Time Films logo before it, so that's two for the price of one.
This is on my print of "Dr. Jekyll and Ms. Hyde," which I taped from Comedy Central earlier this year. Damn movie went out of print on DVD before I discovered how insanely stupid (yet funny) it really was.
Does anyone know if that DVD had this logo before it? I also don't remember the use of this music before the movie.
Has to be the most underrated logo music, at least that I can think of. I could listen to it all day.

Great logo, I loved the music. I wonder who owned Savoy Pictures before it got out of business?

Victor Kaufman, who is now the vice president of the company that bought it out.

@Cindylover1969 Yes! That one's been found. Check it out. But the logo on Youtube is from Imflammable.

A still variant of this logo appears on The Adventures of Pinocchio.

With a logo like that and films called "The Stupids" did they think they could really rival the majors? Nice music though

Me neither.
This company also made The Adventures of Pinocchio, Exit to Eden, A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, and A Simple Plan.

And one of my favorite and most underrated movies, Last of the Dogmen.

This is the 1995 re-orchestration of the 1993 theme for Savoy Pictures.

I can't remember... I used to have the habit of getting the logo but not the movie or TV show it was taken from...
