  • The body fluctuates in such a crazy way...it doesn't even make sense! I think you look great, though! And nonscale victories are just as good!

  • Thanks!! I just started back to school yesterday and a handful of people actually commented on my weight loss - which I really wasn't expecting. I don't think it's all that big of difference yet.. but I guess regardless of the scale going down EVERY week or not, apparently changes are taking place. Hoorah! =D

  • Congrats on meeting your workout goals. I hate that time of month! LOL.. You are doing so awesome!! I love weight lifting my self, its just so much more enjoyable then cardo..lol

  • Thanks! I really miss having some of the definition that I used to have when I lifted before. And it doesn't hurt to know I'm burning MORE calories longer.. lol

  • Oh wow...the scale is sooo addicting!!Great job on your mini goals!! Do whats best for you hun' :) lol

  • Thanks! =) I'm hoping to break the habit.. lol

  • I just realize I am not getting your videos! I am glad that you didn't gain too. I think that is a good decision to get rid of the scale for a while.

Good job on your goals too.

  • Thanks much!

  • sorry was typing more and it submitted! Congrats on meeting your exercise mini goal!

  • You have such a great attitude about the maintain. TOM for me I always see no scale movement.

  • Thanks!

My computer does that ALL the time - the submitting halway through my message! Infuriating.. lol

  • Kim, I understand the scale thing. Sometimes for me it just doesn't make sense. I can lose lots of inches, but stay in the same weight range. Sometimes it can be goofy. I am a number addict, so I only weigh myself occasionally. You do what works for you! Good luck with school!! :-)

  • Thanks! I'm thrilled to be graduating after this year!

Yeah.. I hope I have the self restraint of only weighing once a month =)

  • I'm addicted to the scale too. Monthly weigh in sound like a good idea. It sounds like a great way to focus on behaviors as opposed to results. Good luck this week, I know you can reach your goals.

  • Thanks MJ! I'm hoping it will do exactly that - make me focus on doing healthy behaviors without feeling like a need a numerical reward right away for them. =D

  • Hey there, I think taking measurements and stuff like that is a great alternative to the scale. Another good idea is to get a scale that measures body fat % so you know what is fat lost and what isn't. I'm picking up one as soon as I can. :))

    Keep up the great work!

  • Thanks for ideas! =)

  • Hey, sometimes holding steady is just the thing. Good for you for packing off the scale -- I don't think I could do it, but good that you can. Hey, what was the name of the youtuber you mentioned in this video? I couldn't quite catch it.

  • Hmmm.. This is the third time I've tried to reply to this comment.. for some reason it won't "take".. =(

    LOL..

Her user name is JustLoseItNow. I was trying to link her site in the reply, maybe that was the problem?? I will leave it out this time.. but she was the second to last person to comment my homepage (for quick linking purposes)...

Thanks.. LOL.. I'm hoping to survive without the scale! =D
