  • GONDOR NEEDS NO PANTS

  • biblo is such a creepface

  • Why does Boromir look like a viking?

  • The voiceover pronounced Sauron wrong

  • Watched nostalgia critic's old vs new review of LOTR, this verse PJ. PJ has no contest, IMO. This is rushed, overacted, and awkward at times. John Hurt's good as Aragorn though.

  • hmm I think I liked more the hot guys in the movie than the animated characters :/

  • bolje od filma

  • 4:00 As soon as I touched the ring, I came and started farting.

  • I've been wondering, why does Saruman the White wear red? o_O

  • @JustAnotherAnimeFan Because he had become Saruman of Many Colours. If I remeber the book right, his robe appeared white at first, but when he revealed his betrayal to Gandalf, the robe shifted in many colours.

  • haha was frodo about to knock out bilbo using the ring as bait lolz....all he had to do was put it away!!

  • Too bad in the real version, Bilbo isn't at the meeting :( He should've been there.

  • 3:58 HURRR DURRR

  • Rivendell kinda lookes like a dump

  • the new dance craze we will call it the bilbo 3:58

  • The animation in this film is amusing to say the least. Remarkable, but it makes the characters look not all there in the head so to speak. From 9:00 to 9:07 Bilbo is looks like he has parkinsons or is having a seizure.

  • 3:58 TEh FUUUCK?

  • Whats the reason man arent wearing pants in the third era? first Aragorn, now Boromir. I like the fact Boromir is a viking though. But I think the maker of this movie tryed to be a little bit too creative with adding things of himself in it ;)

  • OMG HAHAH 7:55

  • 4:03 I fell out of my chair laughing so hard.

  • damn Bolomir really looks like a dwarf with Viking outfits...

  • 4:02 Orgasm face

  • Bah humbug!

  • jesus the ring's like crack for bilbo!

  • haha 4:02 Frodo was about to sock the crap out of him if he touched the ring.

  • Boromir looks much better than Aragorn!!!

  • ...O_o;; Elrond looks like a Roman emporer....and Boromir is a ...Viking?? Bahahaha!!! xD Oh, each episode of this gets better and better.

  • 3:56 - 4:05 the greatest 9 seconds of animation ever.

  • lmfaoo at how Bilbo got turned down, but Frodo is appointed the task right away

  • The great gathering of cultures from all times and ages... :D

  • Lols from 0:01 - 0:03 FRODO HAS BOOBS :@

  • Wait, Frodo become a ringwraith?! I can just imagine.... Frodo, the witch-mayor of Michel Delving.

  • WTF I didn't know Elrond the Elf looks like a Roman soldier and Borimir is a Viking and I thought it was Gimli the Dwarf!

  • 7:43 to 7:45 aww nice frodo WHY DONT U USE MY WINGED NICE WARG!

  • 7:56 I'm going to have nightmares...

  • 2.55 "Ello Frodo my lad" Alex from A clockwork Orange much?

  • 2:10

  • hahaha!! love the way they laugh about Sam xD

  • 4:05 bilbo is holding a sneeze!!

  • @bastardindindin either that or he's:

    a) having a spaz attack

    b) having a stroke

    c) just plain stupid.

  • So where were the ring wraiths in "The Hobbit", when Bilbo was using the ring all the time?

  • Tolkein made the hobbit before lord of the rings. Tolkein had no idea that he would make LOTR while he was making The Hobbit. In terms of the middle earth world, at the time that the events of The Hobbit happened, the 9 riders hadn't left to search for the ring and sauron wasn't as powerful yet.

  • Boromir is a freaking viking!!!

  • I think the way the animated Frodo's kinda cute

  • There they go again with the pronunciation. First, it's Aruman, then it's Tinuvhhl, then Mordoh, and now Sohron. Oh boy.

  • if frodo turned into a ringwraith that would be quite awkward because he would be just like a small guy in a coat and hood running around

  • 5:20 They just wave the Sword of Elendil around like that? lol

  • Imagine if Frodo actually DID transform into a Ringwraith!

9 tall ghost likes and one small xD

  • @ 4:02 It look like Frodo was gonna knock Bilbo out for looking at him all retarded

  • 3:58 Bilbo is having an epileptic Seizure!

  • Dildo Bigguns

  • aragorn looks like a indian boromir like a vandal and elrond like a roman, this is dissapointing when you have seen the main mowie

  • 4:00 I saw the one ring and i..JIZZED, IN MY PANTS

  • Elrond looks like Keith Barret.

  • Gregory Peck is Elrond!

  • why do the elves look like men. elrond is not roman

  • 2:40 is it just me or does the Elven Hall look like a nightclub to anyone else

and what is with her eyes 2:49 ( they sort of scare me)

  • 2:40 is it just me or does the Elvin hall look like a nightclub to anyone else?

  • Boromir is a viking? 0_o

  • lol, boromir jus walks by

  • Bilbo looks retarded when he sees the ring.

  • dang as soon as bilbo saw the ring it looked like he was having a spaz attack lol.

  • Elrond doesnt look like he has pointy ears and he looks like a cartoon version of Julius Caesar XD

  • @Goldengirl159 rofl yeah indeed!

  • Boromir - 'Why do you speak of hiding and detroying it?' - Actually, no one said anything about hiding it...O_o

And the look on Elrond's face when Boromir starts talking the first time, it's like he's saying 'Get a hair cut man!'

  • bilbo's so ugly!!!

  • Even gets the Saruman episode right. Really an underestimated movie. It does, of course, leave out a lot. This is necessary. The trouble with the Peter Jackson version is not with what he left out; it is with what he put in!

  • @Churchcantor

Underestimated my ass. This movie is AWFUL. The character designs are terrible, the dialogue is cringe worthy, and the changes it made were worse than most of PJ's changes despite being subtler. Also, unlike PJ's version, it removed essential parts and tidbits of information, such as the explanation of why on Earth they must take the ring to Mordor. Jackson's version is so much better.

  • Radagast, Glorfindel, Tom Bombadil, Goldberry, Beorn.. :/

  • OMG!!!! Bilbo looked like he came in his pants when he saw the ring! hahahaha

  • elrond looks like Caesar from '' Asterix'', he even has the same robes

  • People are saying Elrond looks like a Roman, well... Looks more like Gregory Peck dressed as a Roman!

  • Elrond looks like a Roman. Boromir is Viking,

Legolas is a fairy, Aragorn, a native American and Sam's a troll. So much for the British culture Tolkien created.

And once again, why is Frodo so tall? He is supposed to be a hobbit.

Also Gimili is far too tall, for a dwarf.

  • @BabyBeatz13 and Gandalf looks like dumledore from harry potter 2

  • @lolcatish no, dumledore looks like gandlaf, lord of the rings animated film:1978

harry potter: tens of years later. idiot

  • @asmakareem Calm down dick head

  • @lolcatish no

  • @BabyBeatz13

what "british culture" tolkien created? that really makes no sense...

  • Since when was Elrond Caesar in disguise?

  • Did Elrond pay for all of Bilbo's expenses ? Food and Drink thrice a day for seventeen years is costly ?

  • If i may say so, i added a few touches of my own. LMFAO

  • Omg Julius Caesar has replaced Elrond!!

  • hahahaha i don't know which is funnier, if this movie or the comments xD

  • HAHAHHA wtf why is boromir a viking?

  • lol yeah, but gondor is the greatest of the mens places in the 3rd ages, and the ruler was the most powerful king of men, so no, they were not barbaric.

  • OMG legolas is c3po

  • hehe lord elrond look like a roman xD AVE Elrond!

  • lol frodo at 4:03 "why i oughta!".

  • Okay. Gimli is from snow white, and boromir is a viking.

not to mean criticism, i CANT do better than this so shut up, but seriously.

  • 4:00 bilba having an orgasm xDD

  • 2:27 his eyes say it all.....help

  • @aSuperbadassninja Hhahahaa. I missed that, LMAO.

  • @aSuperbadassninja ROFLMAO

  • This was a great cartoon that unfortunately ran over budget and had a rushed ending with strange film cell painted stuff instead of the quality animation you have at the start.

    Its a crying shame.

  • Saruman the white wears a red dress! Well that is certainly fitting....

  • HAHAH Oh my gosh that does look like he's having a seizure!!

  • Am I the only one that thinks Frodo kinda looks like Paul McCartney? lol

  • OMY GOD! !!!!!! At 7:56

  • Elrond looks like gaston from that disney movie....

  • the guy with white beard is scary

  • ROFL. frodo looked like he was ready to knock bilbo out. of course bilbo would have ducked the punch from the 1 foot taller frodo and shoved sting right up his ass.

  • After watching the Peter Jackson version to LotR...this cartoon series is a comedy. Its made me laugh alot. :)

  • ROFL! Bilbo's over here having a seizure and clearly about to sneeze and frodo's about to drop him.

  • so far what i know is frodo is gay for a troll like creature named sam, ringwraiths are the most disturbing thing ever put into film, aragorn is native, legolas looks like a girl, boromir is rohirin and elrond is spartacus.

it will be no surprise when we see skeletor playing sauron

  • frodo is a brave little happy chap indeed

  • I just noticed something: At the beginning of the video Gandalf talks about how if Frodo had "faded" into the realm of the Black Riders, he would become one of them.

Frodo is a hobbit. I don't care how dark and scary he looks, I'm not likely to be scared of something that barely stands up to my waist. And what would he ride? A black pony [of doom]? Or a baby nazgel dragon, like that thing from "How to Train your Dragon?"

Sorry, it just made me giggle.

  • @PuppetForMyOrchestra hahaha a pony :P

  • My God, even in a cartoon there are people who speak of false images. I am a W.A.S.P. a white anglo saxon protestant, yet extremists exist even when an innocent cartoon. It brings shame and disgrace. People like these are a lower life form, full of hatred

  • WTF Boromir looks like a viking and Elrond looks like some kind of Roman emperor. OMG

  • Was frodo getting ready to clock bilbo?!

    What the hell!

  • I feel sorry for the dark horses too..assuming they`re not undead horses. Though this is all fictional and never happened. lol

  • Elrond? How did Al Bundy get in there? And for the love of Middle-Earth MOVE YOUR HAND, lord of Rivendell!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Boromir is a viking? What the hell?

  • I am actually crying with laughter at Bilbo's fce when he's looking at the ring. God that is so funny!!!

  • Oddly, I am fairly sure that the actor who voices Boromir also did so in the BBC audio adaptation (which I have on CD)

  • I feel bad about judging this movie once. I think the main reason for it was because I hadn't watched it enough as a kid to have it as a childhood favorite like the Rankin/Bass versions. There are flaws like the overdramatic movements and reactions by the characters, and how some like Aragorn, Boromir, Gimli, and the Balrog look, but it's not bad. Just because it's not Jackson's people doesn't mean it sucks! It was 30+ years before his!

  • The Balrog actually makes me pretty happy. He seems dark, imposing, fiery, and violent. It works for me.

  • Okay.

  • I wish bilbo would have sneezed after that face

  • Hahahaha Bilbos face when he is looking at the ring

  • Baromir is awesome in this movie

  • I'd be more afraid of an old man staring at me in my sleep then happy

  • Me too, especially when this old man is such a psycho as Gandalf appears to be in this movie.

  • @Schelmenklingenelf ha ha its the eyes!

  • Yes, that is exactly what I meant! When Gandalf is

pointing at Frodo with his finger and staring at him at Bag End, I always start grinning because he looks so weird :)

  • @DugaDugaDo lol lol lol this movie is entertaining, but 4 all the wrong reasons lol

  • holy shit bilbo's having a seizure!! cool shit lol

  • the council of julius cesar

  • bilbo spazzzzzz

  • Judging by Boromir's clothes I'm guessing Gondor isn't as civilized as we've been made to think.

  • aragorn looks like ben hogan at 5:40

  • @balrog13571 lol

  • Comment removed

  • 2:24 is a silent cry for help- he looks as though he thinks Gandalf's about to molest him! XD

  • lol I never realized that. I guess Gandalph figured Frodo... owed him something for saving his life!

  • @ArwenPendragon lmfao..

  • @ArwenPendragon Lmao "help......me....."

  • OMG Boromir is a viking XD and Elorond is Julius Caesar XD

The film is much better XD

  • this gandalf is more wise and mystical than the one in the movie......but the elves in the movie are far much better than the cartoons

  • I love the fact that "Sauruman the white" is dressed in red...:P

  • In the books his robe is multi-colored.

  • In that you are quite right :). But here it's just plain red ;P

  • Bilbo's reaction to seeing the Ring, although slightly comical, is closer to the book IMO. Jackson's version was just a cheap jump-out scare effect.

  • love the way Bilbo goes orgasmic for the ring and then Frodo looks like he's about to knock him out!

  • @mardyben137 i Rofled

  • If thats the way people look when they have an orgasm im going to kill myself!

  • yes i agree i think the story is a bit rushed tho maybe because the books seems more drawn out

  • For the good you could say about the bakshi film, you really have to wonder at the depictions of Boromir and Aragorn. One is nobility in the realm descended from the very highest of human civilization (the Numenoreans) but he looks like some generic "barbarian" character from a bad RPG. Aragorn is a ranger in the north and is dressed like he's going to a luau and looks like his name should be "Runs with Hobbits."

  • llolol runs with hobbits..hahaha

  • TubeGhost, completely agree about Boromir. I can accept this Aragorn, though. From the book:

... a strange-looking weather-beaten man ... showing a shaggy head of dark hair flecked with grey, and in a pale, stern face a pair of keen grey eyes.

I guess they went with weather beaten over pale for his complexion.

  • I like this version of Rivendell way better than the newer one. It's more psychadelic and natural.

  • agreed

  • Radagast actually unkowingly tricked Gandalf into going to Orthanc where he was captured by Saruman. Radagast is a wizard and a friend of beasts and especially birds and after discovering what he had done he send the eagle to Gandalf's aid to undo the accidental wrong he did.

  • who needs to read the books when you can watch this great adaptation.

saying that i have read the books countless times.

  • Because this great adaption fits Fellowship Of The Ring and The Two Towers in to 130 minutes.

  • lol well you have a point, but this is still a classic, and they did very well with the budget at that time in that era.

  • maybe yall should try reading the books!!!!

  • 2:49 ghey elf lol

  • ps your good

  • why Gandalf use his finger a lot?

  • cus yor a twat

but we al neeed a lafff

  • i dont like that boromor is suposed to be viking:(

  • why dont they have upper lips? is it to save ink because they would be far more attractive if they had upper lips

  • 3:59 "Give me back my cherrio!"

  • boromir looks like a viking. elrond reminds me of ceasar XD bilbo seems to have some problems with his eyes and sam just scares the hell out of me XD

  • lmao so true

  • gandolf looks like an old perv in this.

  • 7:58

Elrond, you pervert! Get your hand out of your lap!

  • Everyones pupils look so dilated, they're tripping they're balls off.
