The only problem I have is controlling the camera using the mouse feels sluggish. Doesn't feel responsive enough. And when the sensitivity and turn sensitivity is turned up all the way, it feels responsive, but it is awfully to fast!

What is a good mouse sensitivity and turn sensitivity I should set my settings for a 7.9 out of 10 sensitivity (medium-high speed)? =(

i don't get why Sony doesn't encourage developers to add mouse+keyboard support, as far as i know this is the only game to support both FOR GAMEPLAY - keep in mind, many games on the PS3 support keyboard typing. For example, in GTA IV on the PS3 you can use a keyboard to type in the internet browsers and police computers. Not sure you can do it in the 360 version.

btw, the PS2 port of Half-Life was the first console game with m+k support, not UT3

Every game should have the option of controller or keyboard/mouse (unless of course its a PS Move game for example) And especially so on a console like the PS3 where you can use an internet browser that already supports pc controls. @Avatarass I think the whole idea of a PC is that you can really do what you want with it, with ease. If you wanted to install new hardware, aslong as it's compatible you just pop out the old one and in with the new. for consoles it's only really possible to change out the HDD.

@The111DooD well, ill give you an example. I bought my computer almost 3.5 years ago. I payed 2 grands for all hardware and built it myself in order to save a grand. Right now the PC is outdated, it does allow me to play all games. But in order to upgrade something, for example a video card, i will have to buy a new motherboard. with a new motherboard i will need new CPU and RAM, because in those 3.5 years, most port standards got changed.

well, it varies... the controller as opposed to the keyboard and mouse. like say in tf2 i have to use a keyboard and mouse but for counterstrike source and Mw2 i need a controller (xbox is better because the thumbsticks arent as close together)

@number1cridic Mouse/Keyboard is still universally better though. In fact Microsoft scraped a whole section of their Live Xbox/Pc merger for games because the statistics showed a ridiculous bias towards PC users always having the upperhand.

Not to say people can't be good at games with a controller, just that with equal skill a vast majority of the time a PC user has an advantage because of the precision you get out of aiming with a mouse.

Mouse is much faster and more precise than the controller. It's been that way since the start, it will remain that way. Everyone with a normal functioning brain will be convinced this is the case once you play with keyboard+mouse.

@OooHesGood Have to disagree. Mouse and keyboard would definetly be the easy way out when you're on console. M&K vs M&K is a whole different experience. That method of controlling in FPS really offers alot.

While gamepads are fine, but also maybe harder for games like GOW, "modern shooters" (cowadooty and the likes), Bioshock etc. I'd like to see you try playing Warsow, Quake, Crysis 1, Tf2 even (scout mostly) with your gamepad. It just won't be enjoyable. Playable, but not enjoyable
