Still, it was a nice dodging match. Hari pops so many steroids that not going down is an accomplishment in it's own right.

The bit I hated was his match against Sem Schilt. Ignashow didn't even try. Schilt was making that fight, Ignashov was ruining it. What's the shame in giving it a valiant effort and then getting dropped by the big champion? Ghita did that and it only brought more fame to his name.

@elmalasorte I'm very much aware of those. You give 8 when a fighter is out on his feet, knocked down, no longer defending or not responding and covering up. The aim is to avoid injury and damages which aren't needed to bring a decision to the fight.

The first knockdown was understandable even if a mistake. Sakalauskas was hit and went down, even if he was ok the next second.

But the second was utter bullshit.

There's just no excuse for such a ref decision. That covering up could've been anything from an actual daze by a blow, to an imbalance, to an unbalanced attempt at waiting for a counterattack opening.

Nobody would've gotten hurt by waiting it out to see what would happen next, so the ref was wrong to stop the fight here.

Together with other bullshit decisions in this tournament (Barbu vs Salmon), wouldn't this hint that the organisers wanted certain outcomes to happen?
