If by "your faith" you meant the quran and the hadith, that those two texts "do not teach you to force your religion on others", you have not read them.

Any monotheism, whichever one, cannot be a religion of peace. If you know the history of your own religion, you know Islam started out with the prophet destroying the pagan idols in the temple. It's monotheism conquering polytheism.

I think it is a wonderful idea but this effort should be directed towards the Muslims who are distorting the true faith.. Islam taken in it's pure form is a tolerant religion. Only true believers can prevent conversion of innocents to false doctrine. That would reduce the terrorism and alter the view of non-Muslims to believe in Islam as promoters of peace and tolerance..
