Went on this ride twice back in the day.

I hear there's a new Star Tours in the works. This one takes elements from the prequels and will show planets like Geonosis. Even better, this new one will motivate you to ride it multiple times because there are randomized scenarios taking place at certain intervals.

The worst thing about Star Tours is the fact that they've been advertising FAKE alternate routes since it came out.

As a child I couldn't WAIT to get back to Disneyland to try the other flights... But alas, it never came to be. I was especially surprised they didn't just do a handful of them during the prequel trilogy releases. Seems like it would be an easy ride to update and keep fresh.

Also, the ride was dead last year when I went. Was nice for me, but a sad realization.

What's really funny about the Star Wars franchise vs the Star Wars universe, which can be viewed in this video. In the universe, the forest moon of Endor wasn't a place to go visit on a vacation. It's isolated and unknown... which is why the second Death Star was built there! But since Endor was in one of the movies, then it's a well known location for the general public, ultimately clashing with the story.

Uh , what I saw sucked ass. After paying through the nose to get in and then to have a massive million dollar franchise like Star Wars to come up with this half ass 3 minute ride where the take off was a screw up the "superman" spaceship comets and the crappy battle and then back to the base, I'd be pissed. When I was a kid Universal Studios had a better Battlestar Galactica tour and as an adult, it was corny but it was better than that. And Disney and Lucas could have gotten Anthony Daniels.
