Savate is not practiced nor is it used because Savate is has so many techniques that are illegal in tournaments. Still to pair Savate with high flying mma/sambo is certainly a good match up. Anyone else here agree?

It looked like Muay Thai Boran... The flying knee called flying bird is a staple... Also, the repost with the elbow under shoulder is standard with Kru. All those knees, all those elbows. Even the jabs were standard with Muay Thai. Pivot rear toe, turn hip, turn shoulder, high wrist. The down step kick blocks are average. Now, the throws could have been adapted from any number. looked like Hapkido kick defenses. Just my opinion. Mixed martial for sure.

Responding to an old comment, but the limb destruction principle comes from Kali where you fight with sticks and blades (empty hand application is Panantukan and uses elbows-to-knuckles, knuckles-to-biceps etc.).

"De-fang the snake", they say. If you cut/wack your opponent's hand, he can't hold on to his weapon and "bite back" --> Unleash hell on him.

For instance my coach will laugh at me when my jab hits his shoulder now im hitting his shoulder da whole time instead of going to the head. Or if some one puts me in a thai clinch Ima just block the body knees and rest for a while cause their gona be so focus on breaking my arms which wont happen and they wont go for my head and then they will gas out.

@SkiLLMaTiic No Need to look up a fact on google. Just learn it and put it to practice. Arm/Limb Destruction is one of the best techniques to use. It can be used as offense and defense. A good way to start practicing it is to hang a tennis ball or some form of target from the ceiling, push it around and punch or block it. get ur hand and eye's coordinated to the random movement. Its a good way to start and is cost friendly.

@lobofaca707 yeah i love sammo, as a fat guy myself i have to. yeah i like boyka more than trubo or chambers, but i'd have to take chambers, michael jai white has some awesome kicks also. donnie and jet aren't really acrobatic on the same level as yuan biao, jaa and chan. or scott adkins for that matter. of course they're amazing athletes and great screen fighters, but their fighting style is more based in standard chinese martial arts.
