dude one question its possible to load some new sounds from the computer ? like korg x50 ? , i mean i can install new sounds on the keyboard using a software ? thanks
hey dude I have a K49 but I never learned to use it...I play in a metal band and I use a really old key board I wanna know if there is a way I can use it in the band somehow
It has no sounds or speakers: it has to be connected to a computer which will have a speaker, or you'll have to connect it to a sound module which must then be hooked up to speakers. I think the Korg K61P has sounds though.
Nah, about as far from the hammer action of a piano as you can get. I've played around with the keys at music stores, and they're totally unweighted (which is what I prefer). Since I've never heard one of these with sound, I want to know how expressive it is (like the range of loud and soft), and it looks from this video like it's very good in that area! Great playing OP!
Only the K61P wich has some internal sounds; the K61 is a midi controller only, it doesnt have sounds; needs an external sound generator, like a synth rack or a computer.
latency dependes on pc hardware, but a decent pc can run a host without latency (the host is where you load the instruments). Also you must use Asio4all to ensure that.
I hope that helps, if you have any questions you just ask me :)
It's not required that you use Asio4all! If you're having issues with your hardware and it's native drivers, then yes, certainly worth a try. Otherwise, I wouldn't say "you must use". I've been successful with my Motif 8 with Sonar 7 using my Echo Layla 3G PCI hardware.
Hello there, sry for the late answer, Its the k61; i like this midi controller, has good response; also,it comes with mod and pitch wheel, 2 pots, 1 slider, joystick mod (vector), two switches and octave up and down function. Im gonna to upload some house music i produce later.

@EitB91 Im not sure, this is the only one i have, never tried other controllers.
But i can tell this controller has synth action weight, full size keys.
Its an entry budget controller.

I assume that most of people don't have audio hardware, that's why the asio4all tip. That pci hardware you have supports asio 2.0, means no latency.
Anyway, is good to see some experienced people on YT!
Greetings!
