I bought one recently in Bangkok. I bought a jack adapter to fit larger jack earphones. It cost me 1$. Works great.

I do undercover vids and for 30$ there is nothing else like it. Takes a bit to get used too.

You mentioned that it has a short battery life - I'm curious - can you still record video when it is attached to a charger? I've seen some devices that can only work when they are NOT plugged into a charger, I hope that this is not one of them.

If You Use These Cameras In Daylight Outside They're FANTASTIC. I bought a Chinese copy of a mini dv cam (by muvi) In dynamic light its terrible but out side its wicked! It was only £12 on ebay including postage

Good review, I was looking at this on Ebay because I wanted something to do my blogging with that was cheap. But not this cheap, I hate 2.5 mp3 audio jacks on ipods, hate them. But actually not a bad camera.

Perhaps the rational of designing/making a product is not as "straight forward" as one might imagine. Namely, what appears as a big product flaw to one person doesn't even bother another person. Amazing but true. Even here, on the comment section of this video, we see people who Want To PAY for this product, despite its OOOBVIOUS flaws and disadvantages. People are Not Bothered by the headphones/jack issue.. no screen issue etc.. Go figure.. Maybe these brands know what they're doing after all.

Is the music stored on the SD card along with the video? Or is it stored inside of the device?

Also it's a bummer that they didn't even give you a normal size jack, I mean---that's the most important part lol. But it looks to me like that is a 2.5mm jack(vs 3.5mm standard). Google "2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter" and you should see plenty of results.

i Suppose apples BIG reason for the lack of a camera in the Touch, is the iPhone, if the touch had a camera, the only perk of the phone would be the Phone literally. I can see Apple putting a camera in the Touch as soon as the phone has a new Desirable feature, Or even a HD Camera (Basically the iSight macbook pros (1280x720), if the iPhone has a Better feature than the camera, i think thats the Touch's time to get the camera, the nano got one because its the only Model of its kind.

Yep, it doesnt fit in well with the whole Apple mindset of 'ease of use'. Just to reiterate - im not a fan of this device... its just something cool to have around as a 'one-off' product. If it was widely available (which it might be), i wouldnt recommend it.

This is why Apple is Apple. They won't just do something because they can. They'll work on it until its Amazing... and then integrate it. I'm sure Apple could have released this kind of "quality-device" 300 years ago, and chose not to.

you hit the nail on the head mate. When I was recording the footage from the camera, I had the camera on the body of the figure (or so I thought I did) but theres literally no way to be certain how high/low you have to hold it. its things like this (as you said) that Apple never put it in until they were satisfied with it
