  • I did this with these guys in 2006 England to The Gambia and back..on an R1200 GS Adventure with a trashed rear shock....the coolest thing you'll ever do on a bike....check my video response above.....it has some still pictures of the ride on the video...

  • These guys inspired me to do a similar trip. But they were a bit out of my pricerange at the time. So I did Denmark to Capetown on a Yam XT660R. Solo.

    I did both the legs in winter 2006...

    I was then joined halfway in Banjul with a group that did the return journey to England- this was billed as Dakar to Paris.....
