been fishing the canal in westmeath recently n local people are saying that many types of fish were been release into the canal n some of them were carrying disease n spread n many fishes were dying floating on top of the water and some problem is from the small boat leaking oil n people dumping rubbish into the canal. Also many ppl didn't follow the regulation of catch and release. So, many of the decent fish were been caught n were taken away instead of releasing it!
