@arkonastriborg123 Of course, i play in a local grindcore band. with grindcore its more white noise than an actual "blast beat." In black metal and death metal, its more refined which requires more control. Not saying guys like mick harris arent up there in the gods of blast beats, just saying in death metal its a bit more unduring and dare i say harder.
Depending on how you are with Christian lyrics, you might wanna check out some Crimson Moonlight stuff. The drummer from that band definitely belongs on a crazy blasting list, in my opinion.
These guys are the jokes of the drummer world! One-trick ponies. The songs are horrible, musically they suck, lyrics are pointless and the albums are like one long shitty song. Their are plenty of REAL drummers out there that are just as fast, if not faster, that can actually structure a real percussive arrangement! The only people that like this shit are the other no-talent,make-up wearing, Hot Topics loving douche bags just like you:)Have fun being laughed at everywhere you go, yes, it happens
@MrKyleOh Thanks for the heads-up dude. He won't convert me to a believer no matter how hard he tries! lol I've been a drummer for 22 years, i doubt he's been alive that long! LOL Good lookin' out bro.
@sunbrnt1 that's about 19 years more than me haha. my kit was originally bought for my brother. didnt stick with it for a yeat even. one man's trash is another's treasure. about to start my first band. kind of like a
king conquer/Whitechapel/A different breed of killer type of thing. i was looking for ways to improve my blastbeat and i found this. any pointers for better drumming?
@MrKyleOh Yeah, i could give you a few tips. kinda depends on what direction you plan to go in with your playing...being a full time musician, a weekend jam session junkie, or a studio player? @MrKyleOh I would also like to add, playing one note chugs on a guitar does not make for some "technical" breakdowns. And i would like you to try and explain to me something that can be fast and intense while keeping tight structure on drums?
@MrKyleOh Then, there are bands that combine death metal ideas with old world musical concepts. Not just nile, bands like Kronos, Serpents Rise, Mithras. But you are a little idiot kid that runs around school going what do you guys think, and whatever that person says you say "so do I" But anyway, that doesnt matter. How am i jumping around questions? @iangehringer Yeah dude, dont mind idiot asshole up there. he doesnt know music worth shit. Anyway, i think i would enjoy telling you, who invented the blast beat. Pete Sandoval from Terrorizer, then morbid angel. And if blast beats arent musical then i guess neither is punk, or ska for that fact, because thats all ska and punk beats are. @MrKyleOh This is punjabi192. #1 Brodequin doesnt use inhales, they are exhale gutterals, but i wasnt expect much from someone who listens to all shall perish. #2 your band that you suggested started out mediocre, and went to shit, once they started playing their shitty ass deathcore breakdown, not only that the blasts in the song where weak, slow, and momentary(i like mine at all tempos but my god). Also during your song, there are inhales, i can even tell you when, do you want me to?
@thisisformusiconly yeah I fucking dare you. you dont know breakdowns worth shit, you dont know good music taste, and I have seen ASP live 3 times, and there are no inhales in any of their songs.
@MrKyleOh Alright, well you asked for it. Breakdown, here go look up these three bands, and you will hear some awesome fucking breakdowns. Devourment - Self Disembowlment(40 second mark), Suffocation - Surgery of Impalment(2 min 40 second mark), and Vomit Remnants - Decompose of Structure. All these bands exhale, and their breakdowns are amazing, all play brutal death metal. I can give you thrash metal breakdowns heavier than ASP. Also ASP inhales at the 30 sec mark threw 1 minute.
@thisisformusiconly you would listen to songs that are about eating your own jizz. the breakdown is easy as shit to play. it takes no talent as a drummer to play it.. suffocation isnt bad. and no, those arent inhales. they are different forms of screams. i would expect one who doesnt know metal to think that.
@MrKyleOh I would, as long as the song sounds good. And why are you bashing breakdowns, werent you just saying i dont know breakdowns worth shit. Of course they are easy to play, but does that make a difference to whether i know about breakdowns or not. Plus did you look up those songs, i am pretty sure you didnt. Plus your a complete idiot. I am the troll? yet you are the one who cant keep an argument straight. there are different ways to scream but all the bands i showed you do growls
@thisisformusiconly yes. i looked them up. technical breakdowns are better than shit breakdown that you showed me. yes, you are the troll. i was making a friendly suggestion of creative blasts, and you bash me. yes you are the troll. I am keeping my arguement straight. you are jumping around questions. just dont even reply. you are the "going hard troll" who wants to win every arguement, and will do so by any means. you are a no nothing piece of shit. and no matter what you say i will not reply.
@MrKyleOh HAHA creative blast beats, that was as uncreative as it gets. Some bands do the one foot blast with their right foot and left hand, as they are doing that they do a parradiddle with their right hand and left foot, thats fucking sick, and sounds good too. And technical breakdowns! HAHAHAHAHAHA, no such thing, breakdowns are a reptative, structure of music, at slow tempos, one of the simplist things in music, you are a little scene idiot, who likes to make shit up about music.
swedish, poland, norweian black-satanic-antireligion-dark-obscure-freak-disturbing-fucking metal, that's all i have to say about that,Im the metalheadlittlepig
Black metal was in no way inspired by death metal, not so much punk either. The band Venom who started black metal formed in 1979 a few years before death metal, which came to be around 1983, created by the band Death hence the term death metal. Also have you even listened to new black metal check out Setherial's newest album ekpyrosis or Marduk"s Warmwood, both still have the evil sound of black metal.
@devan123321 Vader was around in the early 80's too I think. Not to mention Napalm Death which came out the same year as Metallica and Slayer. Death, Grind, Black and Thrash all came out at about the same time so you can't really say that they inspired eachother.
@skiddlecrumms personally i love death metal the most... but thrash did actually help create death metal. thrash was made round 1979 death metal didnt really come to be til around 1984ish. the dates arnt exact cuz theres no definite on who started what genre... but most say overkill created thrash and most say death created death metal. grindcore was a similiar variant to death metal but it was more inspired by punk rather than thrash metal.
@darktrexcz The only thrash bands that got any attention came out in 1981. The first big death metal bands were in 1983. Napalm Death which is the first grind band to get anywhere came out in 1981 as well. Honestly, they all sounded like punk on cocaine back then and I would say that it all stemmed from punk. 2 years for me just doesn't seem like enough time for a genre to come out and already have a big enough fan base in another country to have a subgenre formed, especially thrash in the 70-80
@skiddlecrumms Napalm Death formed in 81, sure. But it wasn't until around 85 that they picked up their Grindcore sound.
Grindcore is a more extreme version of Hardcore Punk, which fuses, most of the time, Death Metal and Hardcore.
Death Metal definitely was a spawn of Thrash. As was Black Metal. You can hear the thrash in both genres. You can hear the punk in both too, as the more extreme punk bands had huge influences on Thrash, Death, and Black Metal.
@devan123321 Black Metal is the closest thing to Punk that Metal can get. Venom, Bathory, all the pioneering Black Metal bands were all influenced greatly by Punk.
Death Metal was coined by Possessed, not because of Death's band name.
Terrorfront by Infernal War is such a good album. Listen to the Shatterer of Liberty, its the second fastes blast beat ive heard. 1349's Through Time and Dust (mayhem) cover is the fastest.
Thats a fuckin nice video. These are real blast beats, not any triggered shit like dimmu borgir, NILE or mayhem. These Drummers are god damnly awnsome.
you don't like 1349's blasts? considering this is like, all black metal from what i've so far heard, 1349 does like straight blasts that sound amazing. like, for whole song durations.
How about Origin ? Nile ? Morbid Angel ? Mayhem ? Behemoth ? and how about some "modern" death-metal bands - Necrophagist, BTBAM, Obscura, The Faceless. ? Hell. black metal snobs will hate this, but even C.O.F. do very good blast beats - give credit where its due.
Dude. I appreciate the effort you went to put this together, but you should qualify it by calling it "Best Black Metal Blastbeats". There are plenty of good Death Blastbeats out there, too.
How I've longed for a little pussy to say a con word about Black Metal and than listen to Death Core. You're a ridiculous emo faggot. Kill yourself you waste of air. I'd like to see any of your shitty little emo drummers come even close to having the skill of Frost or Emil Dragutinovic.
@mentalholocaust ur the fucking faggot if u think this is good. fucking poser. i bet on my favorites u dont know a quarter of the motherfucking bands piece of shit. get off my dick.
@speakurmind3 Deathcore sounds heavy if youre like 15...just like Korn used to sound very heavy to me when I was 15. They play blast beats too, but the music has no feeling whatsoever, not to mention it sounds too polished and overdone, so deathcore aint brutal at all man. When you start listening to metal and go to concerts you'll see what I mean!
i seriously was waiting for a cool band to come up, but no, all you had was gay bands that sucked, and wore makeup.... seriously dude, havnt you heard of morbid angel, black dahlia, cannibal corpse, deicide, despised icon, hate eternal, suffocation?
You're restriction your audible capability, if you have any fucking brain, you'd realize these bands have more talent than half the ones you listed. Black Daliah... hahaha
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
i think Despised Icon or The Black Dahlia Murder plays some of the best blasts. They use them right, not just as noise machines like that Grindcore shit...
From a neutral standpoint, It seems that Infernal War is the only band on this list whose songs were actually half decently produced. I'm not talking musically, but sonically, a lot of this stuff is just terribly recorded.
@XxBehemoth666xX George Kollias is a beast! Other great blastbeaters are Tim Yeung of Divine Heresy (sure it's not death metal but the drums are impressive), and Suffocation
pete sandoval - morbid angel, alex grind - despised icon, the list goes on, and tim yeung was actually the original drummer for hate eternal, then derrek roddy took over... cant forget shannon lucas of black dahlia as well...
@XxBehemoth666xX OMG :D best is not fastest,.. NILE are awesome, but Georges drums sounds for me very bad, because the guitars are in NILE are very tuned to bass and low and then it's very hard to listen some drums in this huge-bass sound,.. this video is example of some atmospheric blasts for me most Black Metal blasts, shit as BRODEQUIN is not music for "my soul" one big blast chaos, fastest is not the best,.. trust me :)
nile is so fucking overrated. just like death metal in general. but anyways some nice black metal bands in this mix moroth. you should check out Tsjuder if u havent already.

baalbelphegor 1 year ago
you don't like 1349's blasts? considering this is like, all black metal from what i've so far heard, 1349 does like straight blasts that sound amazing. like, for whole song durations.
yamanick92 1 year ago
you just forgot about 1349 right ?

How about Origin ? Nile ? Morbid Angel ? Mayhem ? Behemoth ? and how about some "modern" death-metal bands - Necrophagist, BTBAM, Obscura, The Faceless. ? Hell. black metal snobs will hate this, but even C.O.F. do very good blast beats - give credit where its due.
Phagedaena 1 year ago
Dude. I appreciate the effort you went to put this together, but you should qualify it by calling it "Best Black Metal Blastbeats". There are plenty of good Death Blastbeats out there, too.
Phagedaena 1 year ago
listen to Shemhamforash by Behemoth, and tell how the blast beats are. then tell us what blasts are

i see you like shitty ass black metal. listen to dimmu borgir. they actually don't suck ass through a straw....or heavenly...

How I've longed for a little pussy to say a con word about Black Metal and than listen to Death Core. You're a ridiculous emo faggot. Kill yourself you waste of air. I'd like to see any of your shitty little emo drummers come even close to having the skill of Frost or Emil Dragutinovic.

xRottenCorpsex 1 year ago 2
@speakurmind3 Deathcore sounds heavy if youre like 15...just like Korn used to sound very heavy to me when I was 15. They play blast beats too, but the music has no feeling whatsoever, not to mention it sounds too polished and overdone, so deathcore aint brutal at all man. When you start listening to metal and go to concerts you'll see what I mean!

joshgraff2553 1 year ago
i seriously was waiting for a cool band to come up, but no, all you had was gay bands that sucked, and wore makeup.... seriously dude, havnt you heard of morbid angel, black dahlia, cannibal corpse, deicide, despised icon, hate eternal, suffocation?

i think Despised Icon or The Black Dahlia Murder plays some of the best blasts.

MartinSynan 1 year ago
pete sandoval - morbid angel, alex grind - despised icon, the list goes on, and tim yeung was actually the original drummer for hate eternal, then derrek roddy took over... cant forget shannon lucas of black dahlia as well...

@XxBehemoth666xX OMG :D best is not fastest,.. NILE are awesome, but Georges drums sounds for me very bad, because the guitars are in NILE are very tuned to bass and low and then it's very hard to listen some drums in this huge-bass sound,.. this video is example of some atmospheric blasts for me most Black Metal blasts, shit as BRODEQUIN is not music for "my soul" one big blast chaos, fastest is not the best,.. trust me :)
