These jokers affect how all of us receive care...cut state surveillance dollars and provide more money for HIV Care. NASTAD is more a part of the problem for poz people than it is part of the solution.
ADAP seems to be the only thing we are talking about when it comes to the HIV and AIDS crisis in this country and as someone who is HIV positive, formerly homeless and not on HIV meds, there are other things we also need to pay close attention to as well. For example I was told by DPSS just this morning "Mr. Carr you HIV was a temporary condition and it has expired. Your benefits have been terminated" I can't pay rent of bills without this. There is so much more besides ADAP.
