  • What does freestyle stand for again? Without adherence to any pattern, just using ad hoc or impromptu patterns on the spot I suppose?

That's a lot like how I play. Though I use patterns occasionally, I never follow any static pattern, just making it up as I go along.

  • just got this on emulator is nice!

  • awesome video

u made some cool freestyle chains :3

    *thumbs up*

  • How many black beans that crown symbol drops to your opponent?

  • @Glimppe The crown symbol represents 400 garbage puyos. A maximum of 30 garbage (one rock/orange) can fall at any one time.

If it helps, the Purple symbol represents 200 garbage, and the Star represents 300 garbage in this game, so the Crown symbol is worth the most.

  • That's a dangerous way to chain. But in your case Dangerous pays off.

  • So THIS is why you've been cleaning my clock these past weekends.

  • omg can't stop watching your chain videos sooooooooo gooooood teach me senpai ~ugh

  • Awesome.

  • Thanks, but I don't think it was all that great. ^^;

  • can you say that again....

    NOT ALL THAT GREAT!!!

man this was more than great this is uber man not everybody can make combo's like this!!!! i'm already happy when i get an 3 combo!

  • @tomatzu this has a real dif feel to it than says dr botniks mbm this seems harder ^ got emulator think keyboard dont help

  • who is the developer of puyo puyo games is it sega? i mean, did sega first invent the concept of this game?

  • No, Puyo Puyo was created by Masamitsu 'Moo' Niitani, who was the Executive Producer of Compile. Sega bought the rights to Puyo Puyo in 2001 after Compile filed for bankrupcy.

  • uwa! epic maneuver was pretty epic

  • I would've had to have garbaged the video if I'd lost at that point.

But it also proves it you can win even in dire situations.

  • i thought i was really good at this game but now i'm not so sure

  • Eh? I'm not that great at it either, but even during the making of that video I played rather poorly.

  • If your activation point is from the bottom, napalm will destroy you, so that destroys your theory. Plus if you play using the Nohoho technique then you clearly need to learn how to play.

Therefore, you being godly? I highly doubt that. Garbage chaining wins matches, and you clearly have no clue.

  • the bottom is the suggested activation point, because its simpler to explain to noobs. anything on the left side will set it off just the same, so the top of the debri is the new bottom.

get on the zsnes netplay sometime and i will be glad to dominate you with my god like puyo powers.

the thing is you don't need to drop 7 screens worth of debri to win because people retardedly fill their own screen up on purpose. just one or two rows locks out flat builders like you.

  • Thank you for your trolling comments. You've proved you're an ass, and that you can't talk smack for shit. Stick to your day job.

  • that is a terrible way to chain!

  • Terrible, perhaps? But terrible can be used in two contexts, both bad or good. I will admit this wasn't a very good run, but for demonstration purposes as a casual run, it'll do.

  • Oh im sorry if my comment replied to yours! It was supposed to go to the Nohoho chainer above! You chain very good by the way!

  • Haha, YouTube has a terrible way of handing threads. Don't worry, my bad. Thanks for the comment anyway. =)

  • I hate it when they keep sending rows with a one or 2 chain!

  • Harassment is a definite inconvenience. I hate it especially when it's a power 2 chain and your precious chain in the works is buried by several layers of garbage.

  • good thing in puyo puyo fever , the 2-chain doesn't send as much nuisance blocks at you like in puyo 2

  • Yeah, but Fever mode itself is overrated and extremely unbalanced. The best satisfaction is when you build your huge chains, not have presets dropping for instant set-offs.

  • Great Combos!

  • that very helpfull video

  • cool video

  • this game just never gets old

  • Wow. You weren't kidding about being good at this game. :-)
