i don't think talon is meant to be build for auto attacks, seeing how you can burst someone down with just your abilitys so i feel like the crit is kind of pointless

@mrjayoareyes Noxian Diplomacy is basically a ramped up auto attack. I build talon AD, Crit, Speed. because the crit directly affects noxian diplomacy, hereby further increasing your damage output if used in unison with cutthroat and rake for the damage amplifications. Talon is more about auto attacks than anything really.

@syhn303 i agree with mrjayoareyes, i did some number crunching and worked out that talon's AD times by 10 equals the amount of damage all his abilities do, before armour reduction. Build full AD, i usuallly get 300+ and thats 3k burst damage, more than enough to instakill the carry, even if they get some survivability.

If im feeling fed and/or ballsy triple bloodthirsters makes you nearly unkillable 1v1 because of the ramp up from noxian diplomacy

@MOJICA7257 As I responded to a previous comment, the point should not be in that location. While assigning points into the masteries tree I can do so far too quickly and habitually. I will add an annotation when I get home to correct it! :D

@Veruda88 Haha LoL I play talon 11/0/19 because of 6% CDR and MSpeed in old masteries and yet 3 mana regen is a must it helps a little :)

@Veruda88 Hey bro I want to add some item to your guide for newbie players for talon like Pendant + pot or likewise you said boots and 3 pots,upgrade the pendant to philo stone so they can recover much more mana and the nerf of the mana cost is not that huge,so if you have philo and yet it add 5 gold per/10 secs so it is a good item and also I put some Atmogs haha it's just a suggestion I main talon for this days sorry 4 bad english ^_^

Talon is the best AD burster in the game.I love him.

I bought him today he rules,he needs a lot of farm.

Late-game he will burst squshys with W+E+autoattack+Q combo.

Do you understand the mechanics behind his Q? Q + E + Trinity force = on avg about 50% of a champions hp, save tanks. + W for huge dmg and R to finish or escape should it be needed. Trinity force is KEY in his build.

@DynamiCtagez I'm realistic about this guide, I realize that people will probably not follow every bit of advice given here and will adapt to their own play style. My hope with these guides is that they present a starting point for players who are new to the champion. I feel written guides always leave a bit to be desired and sometimes the abilities can be difficult to fully understand from their text. I hope these videos tackle both of the issues and make the champion much more approachable.

Nice video, really. Good build, good advices. But i wanted to post to tell you why his E seems to taunt baron. It doesn't, baron just automatically aims at the closest champion, so your E puts you in the closest position. Usefull for many champions to know like akali, katarina, don't use your reach ability unless you can take those damages, after you just need to fall back behind the tank. I see a lot of tanks attacking from a tiny distance and melee carries taking hits. Anyway, good vid.

@LFNBG Buying small upgrades at a time, such as a Phage or a Sheen will produce large results with each purchase. Where as saving up for expensive items such as IE or Bloodthirster require far more gold to see a dramatic change in your damage output. The smaller portions of the build end up moving into a more expensive item, but as I said he feels strong with each of these cheaper items as you progress.

@toxicchicken77 You are very correct, I didn't even mean to do that. Check the Rune page, it's even labeled "Talon Masteries". That is a point wasted and should be moved accordingly, I will admit while assigning points I do it far too quickly and habitually.

In responce to mmcheese. When I can turn around with Talon, Hit Q then E onto someone and cleave off over 50% of their health in a instant, and still have that W to stop them from running away. Not to mention, I use Exhaust/Ignite. I still have W open if I need it to slow someone down to run away, or to slow the rest of the enemy team down in a teamfight to keep them in range so I can line my R up better to hit them all and maximize damage by making the most blades pass through.

Veruda I dont know man. I actually dont think Tri force is the best item for talon,instead ill get bf sword then into IE or bloodthirster. As u mentioned talon has great AOE damage, Tri force fits his playstyle well however with bf sword items u do more damage in teamfights with ur W and R.

@mmcheese Youmuu's is the best! The entire build I provided is there to maximize your burst without stretching for large AD items like the BFs. I have gone full AD, and it is fun, you just won't get away with it against good opponents.
