What I want to know is why the Hunter of the Dark (That's Red Eye's official name) has red eyes instead of the usual yellow eyes, I mean he's a Heartless. Still I hope this secret episode is a hint that we might get to adventure into the Realm of darkness again. That would be awesome.

@DrZann 1st off, the creature has no official name. "Hunter of the Dark" is just the name of the song that plays during the battle against him. 2nd, he does have yellow eyes, they simply glow red to indicate that he's using his dark shroud ability thing...ya. I wonder if KH3D will have Nemo's world.

The voice's identity is unknown, though my preferred speculation is that it was originally the voice of either Kingdom Hearts, the Keyblade or Light itself, and has now been retconned to be Ventus' talking to him from inside his own heart. But as I say that's completely baseless at the moment.

Just think about this. Aqua is completely alone, with no hope of returning. Now, she comes across these... things. They aren't Unversed, that much is clear. Nothing else is evident except that they want her dead. With no hope of rescue and nothing but a Keyblade she has to fight against the countless hordes of darkness. I don't think I've ever felt more sorry for a video game character.

In my mind, I believe that this heartless is the same one that was in the Beast's Castle. My theory is that when certain high ranking heartless like the one in this video leave the dark realm, they become weaker and may change their appearance to maintain themselves because the darkness isn't strong outside their realm.

Another thing Mickey is a lot stronger now although he probally wouldnt be able to take him on since young Riku would probally hold him back. The second time its Riku and Sora together they would stand more then a chance to defeat it.

@Ruisu07 I highly doubt that Ansem was the supreme leader of all heartless. All he is is Terranort turned into a heartless. You have to remember that this is just the Xehanort trilogy. Nomura said that the story of KH continues even after KH3. Everything related to Xehanort will be cleared up and solved in KH3. The lord of all Heartless is probably still alive in his own world.

Why should the king of darkness have to come out? All he does is create more heartless and watch as others use them to destroy the worlds. In a sense, All that is happining is that the people are fighting amongst themselves while the king of darkness sits and watches them destroy themselves.

It really is worth getting all the cool skills to play masterfully. I wonder if it beats the adrenaline rush you get from fighting with the lower class skill set and a lot more manual dexterity. I tend to plough through the story without getting all the extra powers so the difficulty of a boss fight tends to be harder than it should. Good thing I like a challenge :)

I just noticed...by comparision, even the weak little Shadows in the Realm of Darkness are tough. Sora got the watered down versions of the Heartless to fight and Aqua got 'em all beefed up. Granted, she is a Keyblade Master...and this is Critical mode X3
