I still do not understand why so many here have such a hard time putting love and peace before other things. We live in an ugly world because we collectively choose to make it that way. Every generation experiences at least one historical moment in their lifetime that they can recall back upon years later and remember exactly where they were when they heard the news. For me the event was 9-11. Dr. King once said "If you haven't found something worth dying for you don't deserve to be living." He found that and he fought for justice with every ounce of his being. I can only hope one day in my career as a Social Worker I can touch even a fraction of the lives that he has.
