yea; I mean, it does cost a lot to make a wig, and there are plenty of places where they are selling human hair extensions and wigs, and for alot of money, so unless it was a company like Pantene that makes a lot of money in the first place, I highly doubt it's actually being donated. Not only that, but there's always the possibility of being self conscious that the wig might fall off by accident.
I heard most kids prefer wearing a bandana or a hat because a wig makes them feel silly, especially since most of their peers already know they've lost their hair. I, personally, don't feel that a wig is the right choice, because the child should be shown that they have nothing to be embarassed about, and other kids need to learn that it's nothing to laugh about.
