  • @ChanielDang Have u ever listened to DREAM EVIL??

    gotta check them

  • Comment removed

  • @shredder731 I was talking about this band. black label is awesome but its heavier than this, this shit is like heavy metal music with a rock n roll singer. it's cool

  • Heavy coz Zakk wrote it. What else could it be, huh?

  • SATAN HEARD THIS SONG AND SCREAM: HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Heavy as fucking hell.

  • Why isn't this song in the soundtrack?

  • @blackmass1919 Mine Either...I Wonder Why. Kicks Ass though.

  • Comment removed

  • mmm. Zakk <3

  • I love how the music has the BLS Stronger Than Death sound. Loved Zakks guitar work on that Album.

  • Zakk wrote it, for "Steel Dragon". thats Zakk doing the back up growls and the oh yeahs on the chorus

  • this song is great! Zakk Wylde's guitar + Jeff Scott Soto's voice = greatness! not to mention a rhythm section of Jeff Pilson and Jason Bonham? forget about it ;-)

  • this is Black † Sabbath song!!!!!!!!

  • @Heavy13Metal13God Umm...no. Close though. This is a Black Label Society song, a band formed by Ozzy Osbourne's lead guitarist during his solo career.

  • buenisima..............................

  • dude this songs not on the soundtrack where do i get it

  • Zakk= OVERRATED!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @cliffjumper1984 Zakk is overrated ?!?! WTF MAN? Say why you think that!

  • Everyone has their own opinion.

I listen to Akira Takasaki, Vinnie Vincent, and Yngwie Malmsteen. Also saying this being in bands over the years

  • @cliffjumper1984

How can a guitarist be over rated...he's a tremendous player who knows his shit and is capable of playing several different kinds of music. Infact I think its fair to say that Zakk has demonstrated far more diversity over his career than any of the players you've mentioned, especially Yngwie. Zakk is also one of very few modern(ish) era guitar players who have achieved their own sound instead of just doing a take on something that already exists.

  • Diversity? using a pitch harmonic every 4 seconds in a solo HAHAHAH. so how is that diversity? give me proof. more diversity then Yngwie. look at all of his influences...

how does he play different kinds of music... he only plays metal

OH and VV uses notes that no one really uses..so IDK what you mean about not using their own sound :/. oh and everyone was doing what Yngwie was?...only a few

oh and what about Richie Blackmore

  • @cliffjumper1984

you've just demonstrated to everyone that you dont know what you're talking about. you're judging Zakk Wylde when you've clearly only heard a small amount of his work. Check out the book of shaddows album, the pride and glory album or the acoustic Black Label Society album hangover music....Zakk is an outstanding country player and is very well versed in jazz too, he uses a lot of jazz licks in his solos

  • you've just demonstrated to everyone that you dont know what you're talking about." you just assume i only listen to his mainstream. Akria? you must only know him form his 84-88 LOUDNESS albums. not anything before, or when they style drasticly changed in the 2000's on when he was in Lazy, or his side stuff. VV, you wouldnt know the stuff he did to even call him on it.

You just one of those guys who thinks Zakk is god. your still not proving your argument if i dont know what im talking about :/

  • @cliffjumper1984

I have, you've just ignored it. I'm not the one pigeon holing anyone, you're the one that came out and said Zakk was over rated and 1 dimensional and haven't backed it up, I've given you several examples of how he isn't. I dont think anyone is God, I love music and have a lot of respect for all kinds of guitar players. You're a noob who thinks people will respect you more when you disrespect others, but you're the one incapable of structuring a rational argument, not me.

  • LOL what are the examples>

he does jazz and blues licks? demonstrates his musical repetoir

that isnt examples you just thought i didnt think he only played in ozzy and BLS

  • but you said Akria basicly had the same style and didnt back it up,

cause you listened to all 41 album :/

you're ignorent to the situation is all, i said he's overrated i said y, you said the guys i listened to arent but gave a general synopsis over all

  • LOL

Noob, people throw that word around. I dont need respect. LOL from youtubers?

    Yawn

  • @cliffjumper1984

I didn't say anyone was over rated, what I said was Zakk was a more versitile player than what you were making out and in many ways more so than the guitarists you listed, which is true.

Whether you like someones music comes down to opinion, but hunting down a song that a certain guy plays on just to slag him off trying to preach your wisdom to your idea of "stereotypical Zakk fans" is hilariously lame.

  • IS that what i did? wow you know me so well. No actually i didnt. I did it for the movie, cause I only seen it once, and knew right away who was on it. :/ good try on that one

I didnt say you did say anyone was overrated...but to say Zakk is more versitile then who I listed..who is it true. AGAIN you dont know their stuff, When I've both listened to 90% of both of their stuff, as well as 75% of Zakks on my opinion. AND I BET you have not to make that opinion is all im stating

  • @cliffjumper1984

you state that you've listened to 75% of Zakk's stuff but earlier you said "all Zakk plays is metal".....so you haven't heard 75% of his music or you would know that he plays more than just metal.

The guitarist from my old band is a big Yngwie fan so I've heard a great deal of his stuff and I do like him, but he hasn't changed at all in over 20 years. I dont generalise as a rule, but Vinnie Vincent is another who has never shown versitility, this is not to say he...

  • @cliffjumper1984

..cant be versitile, and Akira, a bit harder to judge as I find his music boring, but he hasn't shown anything in his career suggesting he can switch between genres, though he does have a fantastic grasp of technique. Shredders often fall into the trap of being samey out of desperation to showcase their talents rather than writing songs and exploring genres. Again this isn't to say any of these guys are incapable of being different, but throughout their career, they haven't...

  • so generalizing them in general, and agian to think that u only listened ot a few of his albums..which you were knocking me on(which i havent) ...calling you out one something you said with your own words again

  • @cliffjumper1984

I didn't generalise at all, I went out of my way to say I wasn't generalising their ability, I was basing what I said on the music that they'd released and comparing it. I also didn't claim Zakk was a "better" guitarist, I said throughout his career he'd been more diverse in terms of exploring different genres and styles.

I dont have a favorite guitarist, I'm not 13 years old. All you keep doing is avoiding the subject which you initiated, you haven't backed ANYTHING up.

  • i think he made perfect sense

    yes he's overrated

  • @mickvandam69

He can't be versatile? Try Pride and Glory. Book Of Shadows and switch to some of his newer stuff. Exploration? Yeah Zakk's done it. But this is what he likes now. Nice try though.

  • @cliffjumper1984

...shown it to the same degree as Zakk Wylde has. So in summary, you are wrong with every point you've tried to make about Zakk, and when I called you out on it you desperately tried to twist the conversation around about the other guys. Zakk isn't over rated from any possible angle...his music is hugely popular, he is capable of playing many different styles of music to a high level and he is a sound musician with the theory side of it. You're wrong. End of conversation.

  • Comment removed

  • and Im not saying it cause he isnt my fav guitairst either

  • @cliffjumper1984

Also you keep telling me I've said things that I just haven't said. If you're incapable of giving a reason why someone is over rated and one dimensional, dont accuse them of being it, because you're going to look like a dick when someone calls you out on it and you cant give a straight answer because you've been proven wrong.

  • When the stuff I put it quotes was copy and past..

  • Clearly hear a small amount of his work he is "best known for his metal work with Ozzy and BLS"

thats why I put best known, I known what he does. you need to learn to read before you open your mouth. I DO know what im talking about

  • @cliffjumper1984

just because he is best known for his metal work with Ozzy and BLS, that doesn't mean thats all he is capable of.

Yngwie has been playing the exact same type of music for years and years without showing any signs of progression or versitility, that doesn't mean he cant do it, I'm sure he can, but he has chosen not to. Zakk frequently demonstrates his musical repetoir and is deservedly considered one of the best living rock guitarsts in the world.

  • the" frequently demonstrates" is the funny part of it

you have Offspring pretty fly for a white guy as a favorite.

    nice fail

  • this song sounds very similar to Phil anselsmo's Down!

nice harmonics as always by zakky :D

  • just wondering.. which songs in this movie were covers and which were originals? if covers by whom originally?

  • this could totally be a Black Label Song!!! Bad Ass!

  • @Dethdog666 .....Hell Yea Thats what i thought from the opening chords!!

  • Imagine if "Marky Mark" had attempted to sing this! :D

  • he actually helped with some of the vocals and good vibrations is a fab song

  • Zakk and the Evil twin I believe wrote this song, i remember reading something at the time, it was probably too heavy to put in the movie. Shame, this is a decent song, not Zakk's best but still good.

  • look, for anyone wanting this song down on their computer, just get youtube downloader. i got it and im telling you the quality is just as good as ANY OTHER mp3 format or whatever

  • zakk you f*cking bastard ^^ this song is epic

  • i never heard this song in the movie or in the soundtrack where did you get it?!

  • Comment removed

  • this is zakk on guitar and jeff scott soto singing

  • is this you right now

  • yeep! =)

  • Yeeep! =)

  • I desperately want this song, anyone know where I could get a copy?

  • Its Jeff Scott Soto singing

  • thats him

  • yeah that doesnt sound like mike at all it sounds like a zakk if zakk was high on helium

  • i think it is Jeff Scott Soto who sings it but zakk wylde wrote the song.

  • Great song but could have been better with Zakks brutal voice!

  • Damn comparing to the other dragon songs this has "ZAKK" written all over it.

  • zakk wylde rules..1 of da bests

  • NICE ONE ZAKK WYLDE WROTE THIS SONG!

  • Didn't Zakk Wylde write this song?

  • Clearly. Just listen to it.

  • yes he did

  • yup

  • He wrote all the songs and taught the band in the film how to play their instruments, it's Zakk all the way baby! METAL!!!!!

  • hahahahahahah, the bassist is Jeff Pilson From Dokken, The Drummer is Jason Bohnm. so you are one dumb fuck

  • what the hell are you on about?? I said nothing to that effect, all I said was (and remember it was an open question) did Zakk write all the songs or just the one and helped out with the rest? And btw Dokken suck fucking balls, ooh George Lynch I may just shit myself, get over it DIO is way better.

  • HAHAHAHAH are you retarded dokken fukcing kicks ass, dio hmm what 2 good songs?

  • Fucking idiot... Dokken is 80's metal at it's fucking best, Dio is just as good but giving Lynch shit is just going too far...

  • @GorgonTheMagicMan Zakk Wylde did guitar work, Sammy Hagar wrote these songs.

  • Comment removed

  • Actually this was written by Zakk, all the songs on in this movie were written by diff people (Sammy wrote Stand Up) and performed by 1 of 3 bands depending on who was supposed to be singing (Bobby Beers=Jeff Scott Soto, the guy from Steelheart=Chris Cole and and I think Brian Vanderark sung on colourful which he also wrote). The kewl thing about this movie was that while it was loosely based on Ripper Owens, Miles Kennedy from Altarbridge cameos at the end and ended up get his big break.

  • @mitzlflik wasnt the replacement mike matijevik? but good to know thanks

  • Comment removed

  • @mitzlflik Oh, I thought you were talking about who did the vocals for the main character...which was mike matijevik from steelheart.

  • @mitzlflik yea original dude in the movie was done by soto, then whalberg was done by Miljenko Matijevic who's the singer of steelheart

  • @GorgonTheMagicMan i dont know about lyrics but thats deffenetly his riff!

  • Hey guys i'm looking for the lyrics of this song, does anyone else got 'em? Please post it or send them to me in private ;) thanks a lot!

  • I'm missing only one word out of the lyrics and that's the one said at :20 - :21 secs.

    You still want 'em?

  • Oh yeah please :D and thanks a lot!

  • choptop1218

    "my beginning is eternal"

    this is your missing piece.

    have fun with it!

  • Now How the Hell couldn't I make out "Beginning"?

Well Thanks bro that's been driving me nuts!

  • they should come out with an album as Steel Dragon, it'd be pretty cool

  • When do they play this song?

  • No kidding. I dont remember this tune in the movie. I like it tho :)

  • It's a "Lost Song" written for the movie but never made it in. Zakk Wrote it.

The other "Lost Song" is "Desperate Hearts" written by Jeff.

  • zakk is god

  • i know, dude! the whole song shouts zakk wylde

  • Zakk Wrote the song.

  • exactly why hes god

  • He's God and Ted Nugent is Jesus!!!

  • Mike Matijevic is from Serbia :)

do you know some other bands where he sings :)

  • steelheart

  • Where d'ya get the mp3? or where can I get it?..it isnt on the soundtrack...

  • Give Me your E-Mail Address bro and I'll send you every Dragon song I have.

Or get it off of Limewire, this one will probably be listed as Black Label Society but it'll be Steel Dragon.

    :)

  • hey dude do you have other steel dragon songs?

    It;s listed like bls :)))

can you send me Steel Dragon projects or something else if you have :)

  • Yeah Bro which ones do you need?

  • this song isn't in the movie or on the soundtrack and it sure isn't michael singing, 100% zakk wylde though

  • I don't think that Zakk is singing this, just playing the guitar, and solo too ;)
