Long time ago some Mughal rulers wanted people to convert to Muslims but they refused then Mughal rulers forcibly started to convert them by torturing them and to stop that Sikh people took action and defeated those rulers. That's why we Sikhs are called warriors of faith and saint soldiers and sikhism was introduced by guru Nanak dev di our first guru in 1500s.
