@PhattyMo No the Dual 9610 didnt have an inbuilt Preamp - therefore i led the Signal through my Onkyo TX-SV9041 MKII - and then into my (now old) Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS - the only thing i did to it , was raising the dB level to near -0db :)

Does this turntable have a preamp built in? Was there any RIAA EQ applied?
