Nazism and communism are not that far apart. In both there is a good chance of doing hard labor for "crimes" that are not crimes. Both promote racism, hatred and unequal treatment of humans. And both will eventually fall aprt and stop working. Name 1 communist country that is truly prosperous. You may say China, but not even 1/4 of the population is living in decent conditions. It's also very easy to get a bullet in the head, courtesy of the party.
form its outset (theoretical analysis // theoretical foundation // ...) communism was MEANT to be a movement for GOOD, for liberation, for the establishment of an Universal Brotherhood of all Humankind...
many Fine and INTELLIGENT (wo)men fell for it when it was still fresh and UN-Tested!
NOW: compare this to Nazism: "WE" against "you" (with total totality of consequence and means)
(intentful!) partition of the people(s) in MASTERS and slaves! .... (you can easily continue)
i think it would not be totaly wrong to state that Nazism Wanted to instate the Total Crime as a legitimate Force of History (if you can grab the power, Muster the WILL to comit it!)
It is sadly known that communism turned(?)/turned out to be(?) (into) a Meat-Grinder (YES!)
If you read Lenin's works he was violent and virulent when he openly called for the physical destruction of the middle class and condemned all western systems of government as being exploitative and petty bourgeois. Yet it was the soviet government that exploited its people to the fullest for some vague notion of brotherhood and liberation.
It is usually when political leaders and ideologists propagate utopia, good, liberation and universal human brotherhood that genocide and mass murder/atrocities result.
show me only ONE individual of the Intellectual Calibre and Moral Integrity (!) of (say!) Robert Oppenheimer who would have liked to see the NAZI-cause advanced (even when it was still infant)...
show me this person and i will subscribe to any daring claim of yours!
MY POINT was that Communism allowed illusions (when IT was young / when YOU were young)...
NAZI-ism H A R D L Y (indeeeed!)
as miserable a place as Cuba IS...
it would yet have been the dream of any KZ inmate!
Exactly, communism projected illusions whereas Nazism was open, honest and straightforward. The Nazis openly stated their goals, were blunt and direct. As such the communists were more dangerous when projecting their popaganda as an illusory trap to the uninitiated.
i see None of my reflections reflected in your already made up... opinionating (so much to the fine virture of openness)
or you are just for the sake of trumping me
prepared to corrupt your own thinking
we people of the west might be safe from
outright propaganda (communist style, Nazi(!) style...) but have a Keen Sense when we get served SPIN-DOCTORED half-truths (the likes of which you are dishing out here)
The Nazis were open and honest? Are you that ignorant? Why then did they try to hard to keep places like Auschwitz secret?
The were lying sacks of shit just like Stalin and other Soviet leaders who murdered and enslaved their own people and any others who got in their way. To think that one was any better than the other in ANY sort of way is pure ignorance. They were both evil systems run by evil people.
The Nazis were open and honest about who their enemies were and they broadcast this far and wide in their daily propaganda before the war. They had exact criteria in choosing how to define an "enemy of the state" and they went about it almost immediately after being elected to power. The Nazis had set objective critereia in defining who was a non-Aryan "untermensch" whereas the communists under Stalin had no clearly defined criteria for determining who was a kulak, a petty bourgeois or prolet.

Exactly. Suffering in NAZI camps and eventually dying in a soviet GULAG. What a way to go. Red Nazism was no better than German Nazism

you say many truthful things
but you are still some sort of a detractor
i spake of the most basic groundwork of communism
you would hardly want to be seen as one placing "Mein Kampf" on the same plane as "Das Kapital"...orwouldyou(?!)
communism has seen its 5 minutes of fame in the Big Book of History... AND Proved Falacious YES!
You should better have specifically refered to what i had originally written than to merely re-emphasize Your Own Original dictum...//
