The seats partially look like the originals and do take a ride on a 150 at 75mph with the windows open for dreadful thrash or a 142 over Astley moss for sheer bounciness at 75 mph again! The 142 engies sound a bit irregular to me when running near their top speeds.
I know what you mean about 142 engines sounding irregular at top speed. I don't think it's the engines though, as they sounded like this when they had Leyland TL11s. I think it's down to the Voith gearboxes. When original with SCG gearboxes they were different and sounded similar to Daimler Fleetline/Bristol VRT / RE buses.
For ambiance, the 142s cannot be beaten. The 150s are very dreary in comparison. Stuck with these on Liverpool LS to Wigan NW line now, although 156s are ok.
LOL! I got lots of class 150 video's, even got some Central Trains ones round your area too with a 150/2 carriage in the middle of a 150. I got a proper tour through a relatively emptey train past Bescot yard and that which I might be able to dig out.
ROUGH!

Good Video, but 150s are nowhere near as good as 142s, 142s are the absolute best.

As much as i like 150s and as bad as 142s are i would much rather be on a good old pacer bouncing along the line but still, a good video!

Great sound. I've been on many 150's in and out of Lime Street. Much better than those dreadful Pacer things.
