@xangelinuyashax counter strike 1.6 requierements are not really high. In fact they are really low I seen other UMPC's on YT playing it and with some config tweaks it would be even better :D So I think CS is not a problem ;]

I am a flight instructor, and I am looking at getting one of these to run some flight software in an airplane which giving lessons. The software however is really designed to work in a vertical mode. Is there a way to rotate the screen 90 degrees that you know of?

The vx700 does 3d and gma 500 doesn't ,all of the umpc have gma 500 which makes them awful and not worth buying.

mortero2046 and co@ yeah I know the archos 9 is the shit-- I found out about it before the viliv s5. but newsflash-- "9" isn't just the model number-- the name comes from the screen size. if you're going to get that, you might as well get a laptop convertible or tablet pc. viliv s5 is a UMID (ultra-mobile internet device).

the archos 5 is the closest in size to the s5, and even though it's bigger, the specs are crappy in comparison.

c if you can find something better for its class than the s5

correction: archos 5 is significantly smaller than the viliv s5.

If you *need* something as small as the iTouch, I would recommend the archos 5. it's the best I've seen of *its* class.

Viliv has done quite a good job with this but archos 9 is the shit! i haven't got it yet just because I hope apple release their tablet this year, otherwise archos 9 is the best option out there right now.

The first thing that struck me when I ripped mine(a regular one, not premium) from the box on the drive home from the post office was how HEAVY it is. I was expecting Sony PSP weight. Now I need a stronger belt to keep my pants up.
