Great interview - he is so funny...he was always good on talk shows but he got better over the years. I also love how his dates go from being young actresses to his daughter! :-) She's a cutie - I wonder if she realizes how cool her daddy is? Of course, I'm sure he's cool in his own right!

@Bomentz actually, Kurt Russel was playing a character called o'neil, with 1 "L" look it up on IMDB :) There's a suddle joke in a sg-1 episode, were o'neill says something like "it's o'neill, with 2 L's, another person used to work here called, o'neil with one L and he had no sense of humor at all" :) can't quite remember wich episode though...

Kurt Russell didn't. According to Jack that was an other O'Neil, with 1 l. He is O'Neill (with two L 's as he regularly states).

In one episode he also states that the other O'Neil didnt have so much humor... :-)

No: obviously Russell was the first, but I have always liked the way they joked about this in the series.

yes Jack O'Neill is a major General. He is now a 2 star general (meaning major general) I doubt a brig. General even in a TV show would lead a department like home world security

Yeah I miss the character Jack O'neill in the show, I was watching SG-1 because of Jack and Daniel. They made the show for me, even though it's still Stargate and I've kept watching like all the loyal fans out there. It's still the BEST Science Fiction series out there, but it's not the same without RDA!

The series itself is not canceled. Sci-Fi just canceled orders of future episodes slating they will not buy anymore after 215. MGM who makes Stargate wants to continue the series by pursuing an outlet who will air Stargate SG-1.

Though they haven't said that the series itself will continue, but they've hinted at perhaps a tv movie, maybe two more films even - But I do believe the films will be part two and three of a trilogy, branching off the original Stargate film, rather than a continuance of the series.... Who knows!

But you're also wrong in that it will go on. The contract states that MGM can only sell Stargate to Sci Fi. :( So, no we won't see SG-1 on any other networks.
