  • How well does this bird fly (basic 3D wise) with the stock brushed motor? How much power does it have? Thanks

  • This heli is obsolete these days so unless you are getting a used one, you'll be buying a newer design. That said, the belt driven tail was a must because the plastic gears stripped so easily. The stock 400 motor had enough power for light aerobatics on a 3s pack, but the motor was only good for about 20 flights before the brushes cooked.

  • excelent landing, smooth, will be purchasing the v2 shortly.

belt driven tail right...any sugestions on uprades, replacement parts ect...

  • Do you mean you're getting the mini zoom ep100? I have a mini-zoom ep100pro belt driven(gaui)it's much smaller, brilliant little heli!!!

  • just bought one two days ago.. no electronics any suggestions?

  • Do you have the motor? Mine was a 1st gen with a brushed motor. The setup is in the vid. The tail rotor gears were the weak point. I installed a belt drive.

  • this new one is the v2 it has belt drive but still has a brushed motor, but nothing else. this is the first one I've ever built so I'm trying to make sense of how to choose ESC, gyro, receiver etc. thanks

  • Easy choice would be Castle Creation Phoenix35 ESC, Futaba GY240 gyro, Berg RX.

  • thanks, i'll look these up now. I'm painting my body parts so when i'm done i'll buy most of the parts at one time if i can find them online
