But I see you got Band Hero drums, then you should take that midi cable and connect it into the midi out on yamaha and into midi in on band hero or vice versa, midi in on yamaha and midi out on band hero drums, it should work, they made those connectors down on controller for Band Hero drums to work easily ;)

It's downloadable songs.

the thing is, like this calling, the way it's charted, it charts the entire song's right foot, leaves out the left foot. That's the only difference. So if it's a fast triplet, like RLR, they just chart it like RR.

so basically on fast double bass parts you're playing the same, just your right foot. If it makes you feel better you can just bounce your left foot up and down to get the real song.

but on the first verse yeah, those are the triplets. They're supposed to be insanely fast triplets, I can't play them on real drums yet :(

dude, you do know that 3 hits at the same speed doesn't mean TRIPLET right? it's just a triple bass hit. 8th triplet means 3 notes per beat, 4th triplets are 3 notes per 2 beats and 16th triplets are 3 notes in a half beat.

I'd say go with the Alesis DM5 Pro Kit; they make good brains and you can always use a software solution (e.g. Superior Drummer 2.0, EZDrummer) if you're not satisfied with the module sounds.

Actually, I don't know. I've just finished reading the reviews on the internet and they said that the Alesis DM5 Pro Kit laged a lot, fell apart easily, and was generally unrealiable. Have you, or has someone you know, had any expierience with this instrument?

I've actually only had experience with the SD7K in a shop, but that kit felt slightly wobbly as well...however, it was definitely responsive and lag-free. I'd tend to trust reviews like that, so perhaps the SD7K is the better choice. I only recommended the DM5 due to Alesis' decent trigger I/O's and what I'd heard about the kit quality,

the sd7k is a fine kit for practice and recording, but don't expect to gig with it. I have had mine about a year and a half and, while it is still intact after moderate play, durability is definitely an issue. fair waring, the cymbal pads can pick up 16th notes, but the module won't process them on a cymbal channel to cover up how the pads tend to register double hits. it is hard to explain

I don't exactly have a lot of money so I can't afford a good Gibson, but I gig with an Epiphone 1958 Korina Explorer. It's been awsome so far, should be worth a lot more. Yeah, about a quarter second on some songs. The thing is, some of the video (for two or three of the fills) I converted was out of sync by a bit whereas the other video I converted was not; I had to choose to keep some fills in sync and others slightly out of sync with the audio. Also, this was pretty much the second recording I ever did with my HD PVR, so my settings were a bit screwy...oh well.
