as a hairstylist I used to have them that long, honestly its just like short nails, you just learn to adjust your everyday life to them then its second nature. :)

@dannielitachannel that's not her cuticle(dead tissue) bleeding its her eponychium (living tissue)...The reason it's bleeding it's because the nail tech was probably careless and did not block her client's skin. Resulting in a bleeding eponychium...Which sadly happens a lot with a lot of "careless" nail techs...The desing may look fabulous but now she just made her self look unprofessional and now needs to buy new implements...

@mslokita13 When you do stilettos with very pointy ends, the point tends to chip in very few days, specially if the nails are so long. To avoid this, some techs make the point more squarish to make the design last longer.

FYI for everyone saying"Too Long"... the style shown is called STILLETO: because they are long & pointy like Stilleto Heels. You must have the length to support the acrylic (because of how narrow they are) & this is a GREAT example of this style. It's not for everyone, but Cosmetologists & Nail Techs appreciate this for what it is.
