I'm wondering if in the end Alex was really convinced to believe all that stuff about them being chosen and such from Nigel, or if he was just smart enough to make it seem like Nigel was trying to convince him, when he was the only one who believed it all along. I'm just guessing it was the first option along with all the trauma, because when he spoke to his father he seemed partially regretful to be alive and spiteful for no reason.

I love this movie! Not only because of the amazing and good-looking actors, but also because of the original plot. Of course, just like other brilliant movies, this movie is not for everyone, but if one has the patience and interest to fully understand it, he will discover a masterpiece! I don't think he was ever on Nigels side- he just knew that the Templar Knights had to continue, and Nigel choose him to do that. I think he ENJOYED certain things about the Templars, such as the idea of controlling someone, like Nigel controlled him, but I dont think he ever AGREED with it. Capeesh? :))

Well, Nigel killed Susan so that Alex could have his Maraclea- he thought he was doing Alex a favour (remember, he's messed up) and Alex meant he got etermity because he died and they thought that once you died you go somewhere you will ever die- like heaven I think, or somewhere like that at least- thats why Nigel killed himself, so that he would get eternal life. Understand? :) x

Alex tells his account of the events that lead to the victims death - the victim being his friend, Nigel. The twist is that both Nigel and Alex seemed to have some sort of bizarre symbiotic mental relationship (hence the title "Like Minds"), and even after his death, Nigel's psychological effect on Alex still remains.
